Hello, this is ISchannel. Speaking of Kitakata, Kitakata ramen is more famous, but I would like to introduce Miyako Soba Gonzaburo in the Miyako district of Yamato Town, where if you order a course menu, you will get all-you-can-eat sun-dried so-called “secret soba.” Hijisoba refers to the so-called 100% buckwheat noodles made without the use of tethers, produced by soba shops in the Miyako area run by farmers who open their homes to the public. There are no buses, so if you walk or take a taxi, it’s less than 10 kilometers from Yamato Station on the Ban’etsu West Line, but if you rent a car, it’s 20.7 kilometers from Kitakata Station. There is also a Sukiyamon gate, which is a splendid front entrance. It’s located on a curve along National Route 459, so when you drive past it, you can only see the side like this. Gonzaburo is the store with this sign on the left as you drive along National Route 459 from the Kitakata direction. The parking lot is in front of the building facing National Route 459, and there is a signboard to draw attention. The second parking lot looks like this when you enter in front of the signboard. This is the entrance to the store from the second parking lot side. There are welcome words and notes written in the parking lot on the national highway side. Above that, the store’s top picks are written inside a large, round, flat basket. In the parking lot, there is a banner saying that Yamato soba has been certified as a 100-year food by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, a banner with herring pickled in Japanese pepper, and a banner with sun-dried soba. There is also an entrance on the parking lot side, although there is no curtain. Let’s take a look at Sukiyamon. To the left of Sukiyamon is a picture of a girl with a Hyottoko mask on her head. On the right side of Sukiyamon Gate, there is a mailbox that picks up goods at 10:30 every day. At the Sukiyamon gate, there is a curtain with the word Soba written in large letters and the word “Gonzaburo” written in a smaller size on the left side. Let’s pass through Sukiyamon. On the left side are wooden benches and tables. There is a sign on the left side of the entrance that says “Please also use the riverside parking lot.” To the right of the entrance, there is a sign that says “Please enter without reservations” and a blackboard with a menu posted on it. Let’s enter the entrance. The entrance looks like this, there are steps and handrails, a shoe rack in front is decorated with various things, and there is an intercom on the upper right of the shoe rack. The entrance to the store looks like this, with various items decorated and a small signboard that says “Please proceed to the back of the hallway.” Let’s go inside the store. Immediately to the right as you enter, there are lanterns and screens that match an old folk house. The pillar on the left is decorated with a lucky zaru, and above the passage is a bon zaru with folk art on it. On the left here is the entrance to the store from the second parking lot side, and on the right side, various souvenirs are sold, but among them, a product with this name, which is said to be an enemy of unbeautiful women, is also known as Umabudo. It is said to be good for the liver. This is what the whole room looks like when you look at it from the back, and this is what it looks like when you look around at the entrance from the seat on the right as soon as you enter. To the left of the entrance is a barley tea pot and a water tank. There are folk crafts on the beams, and paintings and awards are displayed on the beams. Various gods are enshrined in the magnificent shrine. The central hearth looks like this. Above the hearth is a cloth with the words “Relax” written on it. On the top left corner of the cloth, where it says “Relax,” there is an advertisement for the local sake “Hiroki,” which is only available at the time of purchase. Behind the message “Hiroki” is a bamboo basket with grilled river fish on bamboo skewers. The back room is a tatami room, and it looks like this. The first page of the menu is on the right, with a greeting from the proprietress and PR for the restaurant, and on the left is an explanation of the ingredients used in the tempura. There is a menu on both sides of this menu, and if you choose the course written in yellow on the top left, you will get all-you-can-eat secret soba noodles. We are promoting sun-dried soba noodles. We are currently promoting soba gakiage by explaining the benefits and effects of soba. The proprietress recommends a set of Aizu’s representative dishes, “Yumemi Soba” with no refills of secret soba noodles, and an additional option of salt-grilled river fish or fried river fish with sansho miso as a full course. This is the “Iide Course” with unlimited refills of secret soba noodles. If you ask the staff, you can eat “Mizusoba” where you can enjoy the original taste of soba. We are also pushing out side menus of soba gakiage and soba dango. We are promoting souvenirs. Since it was a great opportunity, I ordered the full-course “Iide Course,” which includes all-you-can-eat secret soba noodles. And then the food was brought out. This is the main, all-you-can-eat secret soba without any side dishes. Let’s pass the secret soba around. Let’s take the secret soba with chopsticks. I use soba soup and seasonings, and when I don’t have enough soba soup, I tell the staff. Herring pickled in Japanese pepper. This is sashimi konnyaku made by the shop. Kozuyu is a local dish of Aizu. This is butterbur and miso. Candy-boiled flower beans. It’s boiled food. It’s a mainspring. It’s fried river fish topped with sansho miso, but personally, I prefer the salt-grilled version. The internal organs of fried river fish are carefully processed. Seasonal tempura. When you can see all of the tempura, from the left you’ll see udon leaves, flattened soba, maitake mushrooms, sesame greens, and wisteria flowers. After refilling a bowl of hi soba and eating it all, I realized that hi soba has a strong soba flavor and goes down smoothly. In the end, I ate three bowls of secret soba and finished the meal. Thank you for the meal. Thank you for watching. If you like, please subscribe to the channel.
