【北九州観光】九州旅第二部!北九州⚓️1泊2日の旅②(後編)関門海峡ミュージアム😆&関門トンネルを歩いて下関まで行ってみた🐡【福岡旅行】【門司港観光】【福岡県】Vol.142 [SUB/4K]

Good morning! This is E-Ma. This is the second part of our Kyushu trip, the second part of our 1 night and 2 day trip to Kitakyushu. I’m going to eat breakfast (´ー`). A simple breakfast buffet. I’m glad that the low price of accommodation includes breakfast (*´ω`*). I check out and leave. We also said goodbye to "Ponta" in the lobby (=゚ω゚)ノ. Continuing from yesterday’s "Mojiko Retro Stamp Rally" we will be visiting the remaining two facilities. In the previous video, we visited 5 facilities, so please take a look at that as well! You can reach your destination in less than 5 minutes from the hotel. This is a facility where you can enjoy and experience the history, culture, and nature of the Kanmon Strait. There are some paid areas, but due to time constraints I will only be visiting the free areas (^_^;). First up is Kaikyo Retro Street on the first floor. It reproduces the streetscape of Mojiko during the Taisho era. Over the course of 20 minutes, the time changes from morning to noon to night, and you can hear the colors of the sky and the chirping of birds. When the light shines on the realistic statue, you can hear the conversations of people from that era. This is how "bananas are sold". "Streetcar". Inside the train, a video of scenes from Moji at the time was played. There was also a corner where old toys were displayed. Let’s also go to the "Banana Reference Room" on the second floor. Moji Port is the birthplace of banana selling. Bananas were first brought to Kobe by Taiwanese merchants around 1903. After that, it began to be imported from Taiwan to the nearby Moji Port, and a market was established there. They were trading bananas that were still green, but they had ripened during transportation, so they tried to sell them quickly. Banana sales began when street vendors used clever words to attract customers and sell them. On Saturdays and Sundays, demonstrations of “Banana seller” are held in front of “Mojiko Retro Tourism Products Center Minato House”. I wanted to see it (._.). “Milk Hall” is a restaurant that served milk and snacks from the Meiji period to the Taisho period, and is similar to what we would call a cafe today. It’s interesting to listen to the conversation (´艸`*). At the back of the second floor, there was a recreation of the Taisho era “Sakae Koji,” an alley in Moji Port that still exists today. Cat (*’▽’). The 2nd and 3rd floors are paid areas, so take the elevator to the 4th floor. There’s a cafe on the promenade deck, so I’m going to take a break. You can order and pay here and sit at your favorite seat. At the back of this aisle is the ticket office, which is a paid area. Mojiko Marine Cider (Rose Blue) 580 yen each. Refreshing~(*´ω`*). Let’s go to the observation deck. It looks like the entrance to an attraction (*’▽’). This is an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of the Kanmon Straits (´ー`). You can clearly see Shimonoseki City in Yamaguchi Prefecture on the opposite bank. You can also see Kanmon Bridge clearly (*’▽’). Unfortunately, the sky was white due to the yellow sand (._.). I forgot, but I will stamp it at the end. This building was used as an international terminal. It played an important role as the gateway to Japan from its construction in 1929 until the end of World War II. Currently, it is used as an exhibition space as well as a multipurpose space. Contains the Matsunaga Bunko movie and entertainment museum. Put the final stamp. Completed!ヽ(^o^)丿. I would like to go near Kanmon Bridge. As I was driving along Prefectural Route 261, a large torii gate appeared. This area is called the “Mekari Area” because of the name of “Wabukari Shrine” that lies ahead. “Wabukari” seems to mean “cutting seaweed.” We arrived at the shrine just below Kanmon Bridge. The “God of Guidance”, who watches over the safety of maritime traffic and controls the ebb and flow of the tide, is enshrined here. If you visit this shrine when you want to move towards your goals or want to freshen up, it seems that you will be guided in the right direction (´ー`). Let’s try drawing the “Lucky Fishing Fortune”. I caught a blowfish (*’▽’). It was "Kokichi" (._.). A “wooden carved fortune-telling fortune” was found inside the shrine office. This is "Kichi". The sea is beautiful, but the current seems to be fast. Kanmon Bridge connects Honshu and Kyushu. It is a suspension bridge with a total length of 1068m and was opened in 1973. I’m going to walk to Yamaguchi Prefecture from now on!(^^)!. Kanmon Bridge is an expressway and cannot be crossed on foot. There is an undersea tunnel that connects Honshu and Kyushu, so you can walk across (*’▽’). Moreover, there is a pedestrian-only road, so you can walk safely. An undersea tunnel with a total length of 780m that was completed in 1958. It is divided into upper and lower sections, with the upper section being a carriageway and the lower section being a sidewalk. Now, let’s go for a 15-minute walk under the sea (*’▽’). When I walked halfway, I saw a sign marking the prefectural border. Entering Yamaguchi Prefecture! My trip to Kitakyushu changed to a trip to Yamaguchi (^_^;). We have arrived! I’ll go to the ground. It was my first time to come to Yamaguchi Prefecture, but I never expected to come on foot (´艸`*). This area is where the last battle between the Genji and Heike clans, the Battle of Dannoura, took place in 1185. The Taira clan was destroyed in this battle, and Japanese politics was transferred to the Kamakura Shogunate. "Dannoura Battlefield Ruins". It is said that battles were mainly fought on this sea with fast currents. I would like to see more of this area when I come back to Yamaguchi someday. I was about to head home, but I found a shop that caught my eye next to the entrance to the tunnel. If you see something written as a specialty, you’ll want to try it (^.^). When you order, they grill it on the spot (*’▽’). Freshly baked chikuwa 300 yen. It’s so hot that I can barely hold it (;・∀・). It was very delicious (*’▽’). When I returned to the humanitarian tunnel, I found a commemorative stamp. It is a stamp that can be completed by pressing both the Shimonoseki side and the Moji side (´ー`). Now let’s go back to Moji! i’m back. We also stamp stamps in Moji. Completed (*’▽’). This concludes our trip to Kitakyushu! It was a short trip to Kitakyushu. It was a rich and fulfilling trip (´ー`). But if I had to be greedy, I would have liked to stay one more night (._.). That’s how wonderful the city was (´ー`). Our Kyushu trip is still continuing. Next time I’ll head to that place (*’▽’). We hope you enjoyed your trip to Kitakyushu with us! I hope this video is of some help to you. If you like it, please press the good button and subscribe to the channel! We are also looking forward to your opinions and impressions (´ー`). Thank you for watching until the end. See you again in the next video (^_^)/~
