Three Must Places to Visit on Your Last Day in Tokyo, Japan

welcome back everyone Al’s from Al’s wonderless Adventures this episode is our last day in Japan the highlights of today is Hands-On Sushi making which we’ll eat for lunch we visit the asusa sori temple in Tokyo then we explore and shop at the amiko Market Street then we head on to haneda airport to check in for our flight to [Music] honol our Sushi making session took place at yacho Shin alachi restaurant our Master sushi chef was Mr Hashimoto he has over 40 years experience as a master sushi chef for me this is my first lesson on making sushi [Music] first nari sushi I’m making is using YOLO fin tuna [Music] next sushi I’m making is using salmon [Music] the next sushi I’m making is using tomago is a Japanese rolled omelet also known as tomago Yaki the alet is sweet has a light texture and works well when served over sushi rice with soy sauce and wasabi sauce [Music] [Music] [Music] one [Music] the next sushi I’m making is using salmon eggs or the Japanese name for okura Japanese style sushi with fresh salmon row eggs [Music] [Music] [Music] B [Music] okay the last sushi I’m making is using cucumbers [Music] [Music] you’re visiting Japan I highly recommend you add to your itinerary a class on Sushi making it was a great experience Mr Hashimoto did a great job and explaining how to make nigui sushi and it was delicious [Music] [Music] harato Mr Hashimoto [Music] [Music] located in Tokyo’s traditional District of asakusa the sji temple also known as the asakusa Canon Temple is one of the city’s most frequented and colorful Buddhist temples I learned that two brothers fished a statue of Canon the goddess of Mercy out of the Sida River back in the year 628 although the brothers returned the statues back to the river it was always back to them this resulted in the construction of the senoi temple which was built nearby the river for the goddess of Mercy completed in the year 645 the senoji temple is Tokyo’s oldest Temple [Music] I’m Yoko a busy Market Street along the yamanote line tracks between okachi and the Uno stations various products such as clothes bags Cosmetics fresh fish dry food and spices are sold on along the Amoco and as a reminder make sure you bring your passport credit cards and cash to buy things the reason I say your passports you can get a discount and not pay the tax when purchasing items amoko it was originally a place of shopping for local people but now it becomes a touristic attraction and many foreigners come to visit you can find many cheap Goods of course there are many things to eat OKO stretches approximately 500 m between Jr yuo station and Jr okachi station with around 400 shops lining the street amoko shopping street is a must visit destination in Tokyo this a hell kitty store you got a lot of stuff yes I got stuff for the uh guest bathroom so the Japanese government the I hope I hope everybody had a great time on this tour yes um we saw a lot we walked a lot and we need a lot yep y really is give a uh a hand oh such a wonderful job taking care of us abely hopefully we can do it again some place else for your visit to Hokkaido and then Tokyo I really enjoyed being with you interesting people yeah I really enjoyed it so that I’m glad I could do the know nonstop again yes and this spring I have no nonstop to us I’m unhappy about it but anyway I hope you know you fly home safely and then uh uh you will be in good health and hopefully in the future someday come again to Japan so I say see you again and then shortly we are coming to the uh you know uh building for the international departure and when we have arrived one more time check your overhead you know uh rack and then seat pocket and then on your seat under your under your seat if you drop some nice under your seat and then can I find it okay our driver keep it okay and then to be honest with you so the uh we come through the bus only to the disced the uh uh area so sometimes we have to walk far to the uh you know uh building but see lots of you know people are now arriving at the [Music] airport after checking in and going through security we hung out at the Sakura Lounge until our departure time [Music] oh I don’t know look like though he’s just a baseball player is yep [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] what an amazing Japan Adventure first I want to say thank you arato Mahalo to Roger Natasha Jason and enjoying this adventure with me amiko our local tour guide she did an outstanding job explaining and showing us the areas WALL-E the One-Stop travel group coor did a great job in keeping us in line and making sure we were on time and One-Stop travel uh Hawaii staff group who uh did a great job in organizing this tour and Japan Airlines we visited 10 cities from the north saaro to the south of Tokyo Onsen Hot Springs baths making ice cream at wanabi Farm in OK kaido the Icebreaker Cruise was amazing making sushi was outstanding and V visiting all the other sites and riding the train not the bullet train but a regular train to cazu to see the cherry blossoms this is my first time visiting Japan my first time traveling with a tour group and my first my third Asian country In this episode I share our last day adventures in Tokyo, Japan before flying back to Honolulu, Hawai’i. We take a hands-on Sushi Making class at Yachiyo Shinanomachi Restaurant, Visit Tokyo’s oldest temple in Japan Asakusa Sensoji Temple, and Ameyoko an open air market filled with food stalls, restaurants, traditional wares and bargain prices.
After shopping we head to Haneda Airport for our evening flight to Honolulu, Hawai’i.
