[ラオス女一人旅] 知られざるラオス南部の魅力:パクセーと世界遺産とボラウェン高原の絶景滝 Female Solo Travel in Southern Laos; Pakse
[Music] We have arrived at Pakse We have arrived at Pakse Airport safely. It’s small. It’s like this. The taxi guy said it would cost 80,000 kip, so I’ll go there. This is pakse. I arrived early in the morning and was told that I couldn’t check in yet, so I had about 30 minutes left, so I thought I’d take a look around the area. This seems to be the main street. I found a cute coffee shop, so I went in. They didn’t have an almond croissant, but they had a Hokkaido milk croissant, but that was sold out, so I ordered a mixed nut caramel croissant. looks delicious! The latte is also made with art. This is the guest house in Pakse where we will stay for 4 nights starting today. [Music] It’s a very dark room. Well, it’s $60 for 4 nights, so I can’t really complain at $15 a night, but it’s pretty dark. The bathroom is also like this. I’m walking down the main street in Pakse right now, and it seems like that’s the city hall. The city of Pakse is quite small and quiet, unlike Vientiane. The building is of the French colonial style. I was feeling hungry right now, so I found some meat buns over there and bought them. This has something like custard in it. It is said to be the third largest city in Laos. It’s not cluttered, and the roads are neatly and neatly divided. I found a place that looked like a shopping mall. [Music] I bought face wash, face mask, and sunscreen at this Pakse Market. This is Wat Luang temple. You can see the river. Right now people are coming up from around the river. There are stairs here so you can cross. It got dark on the main street. This hotel seems to have a rooftop bar on top. The middle of this road is lit up, so it’s beautiful. This is egg noodles and pork wontons. There was breakfast at the hotel today, so I ordered it. Breakfast is an extra charge. It said it was homemade bread. This is an omelet and a latte. 75,000 keep in total. From now on, we will take this songthaew to see Wat Phu, a world heritage site near Pakse. Before that, we went to the morning market and then on the way back we went to the temple on the top of the hill. Actually, it would be better to go on the scooter or Hara Chari next to this, but I’ve never ridden one before and it’s scary, so I decided to skip it and take the expensive songthaew tour for safety’s sake. The songthaew is in tatters. There is a nice sidewalk along the river. Looks like jogging might be a good idea. I came to the morning market. Today I would like to buy some fruits here that I will eat later. Well, let’s go. Oh, I guess they don’t sell food. I said I’d be back in 30 minutes, so I took a quick walk, but this place is really big. This is a basket commonly seen in Laos. I also bring some rice with me. I think I came to the opposite side of where I was dropped off. amazing. They sell various things. I found the fruit section. Fruits and vegetables! There it was. I just bought a mango here. It was 7000 keep for two. I wonder if this section sells meat and fish? It’s huge. That’s amazing. Where I bought water, they also sold knives, so I bought some fruit. Keep 10,000. I lost my knife and scissors while riding the train, so I bought them again. The good thing about shopping in Laos is that you don’t have to deal with pushy customers. It’s amazing when you go to places like Thailand, but here everyone is calm and quiet. And I won’t lose money. They are honest and will tell you the lowest price, so you can shop with confidence. The bridge I’m crossing now is the bridge between Japan and Laos. It looks like something like a royal palace. What is that? I entered the rickety road. Is this area a village? It’s like a village. It’s 11 o’clock now. I finally arrived. hot. I’ll go to the toilet first. Oh, the restroom is nice. The entrance is this way. There’s a coffee shop here. The entrance fee was 55,000 Kip. This place has become a souvenir shop. The Wi-Fi password is written here. Come to think of it, in Laos they ask for passwords and things like hotel information, which is interesting. There are usually eight digits in total, and in many cases the first four digits are the same number and the last four digits are the same number. The temple here is quite large, so it seems like these buses will take you anywhere. First, let’s go see the Wadpu Exhibition Hall over there. It seems that Japan is helping to save Wat Phou. I came here by bus from across the pond. This is said to be a stone terrace. What you can see in front of you is a mountain called Phukao. Wat Phu means the mountain of lingam. It’s extremely hot under the scorching sun. a! I brought a hat, but I don’t have one! I forgot it somewhere. Hmm. a! This is when I entered the exhibition hall. I dropped it somewhere. These are the northern temple and the southern temple. I finally got to the top after climbing the high stairs and taking very long steps. This is the statue stone. I was just looking at that explanation and realized, oh, that hurts! I hit my face on the left corner over there. My cheekbones hurt! This place on the right might bruise. can’t believe it. My hat is gone… Driver, I’m shopping here. Look, look. This crab. Please take a look. This is amazing! Also, stairs with a long stride. My feet are 24.5 cm. It’s like this. Wow, that’s amazing. A golden Buddha statue appeared. It’s still going on. This is long. a! There it is! It’s over there. A large Buddha statue. I’ve reached the top. At the top is this large golden Buddha statue. huge! At the top of the mountain, there are many golden Buddha statues lined up. There’s an observation deck. It’s beautiful, look at this. It’s so beautiful. It was worth the climb. After all, high places are beautiful. What you can see in the background is the Friendship Bridge between Japan and Laos, which I passed this morning. I just looked inside this temple, and there were pictures of Buddha’s stories around it. A monk came and gave bracelets to the people who came to pray. Is it okay to play bonbon over there? It was difficult to climb up the stairs here, but it’s really worth seeing. There’s a young monk over there. I made it back to the bottom safely. Oh, there. Look. The cow is walking normally. What I often see at Pakse this time is cows. There are cows everywhere. There are souvenir shops and places to eat at the foot of the temple. I just went to the rooftop bar on the 7th floor of Pakse Hotel and drank happy hour beer while watching the beautiful sunset. I was there for about an hour. When I got to the bottom, there were many groups of elderly European people. The restrooms were also clean, so I guess this hotel is the best. I’m hungry, so I’m going to go eat some food. I ordered seafood green curry. He put it on me after dinner. I also ordered my favorite Lao white beer. delicious. The curry is not spicy and is easy to eat. good morning. It’s now 9 o’clock in the morning. Driver, I want to go over there. But I’m complaining because this car is parked in the middle. Awesome, amazing. At gas stations in Laos, the people at the gas station will fill you up with gas. This gas station has a convenience store and a restroom over there. I’m going to go to the bathroom right now. I’m selling fruit. good morning. Today we will go to waterfalls in Pakse. We are also being taken around in the same songthaew as yesterday. Apparently you can drink tea at the first stop. It seems that these are all tea leaves. I bought tea here. Local market here. Should I buy some fruit? The driver seems to be buying that interesting thing. I wonder what it is. I bought an apple. Keep 25,000 for 3. The first waterfall we came to was Tadfan. The entrance fee was 30,000 kip. You can also do a zipline here. There are view points and waterfalls. Let’s go. It was hot until just now, but once the sun goes down, it cools down. The temperature suddenly dropped from 30° to 25°. It’s a little cold. I’m doing a zipline here. Zip lines are $35. Oh, I didn’t know that. I haven’t brought any money. disappointing. There is a coffee shop here. I hadn’t planned on doing it, but since I could pay with a credit card, I decided to do it. The zip line was really fun. amazing! I went on a zip line with a guy who was filming a video. A coffee plantation. The guy who was ziplining in front of me earlier seems to have hired a motorcycle driver. I wanted to do that too, actually. We also make tea here. It’s a coffee tree. It was called Arabica. I ordered an Americano. It’s insanely delicious. This almond croissant is also delicious. This is by far the most delicious dish I’ve ever eaten in Laos. We came to the next waterfall. I guess it’s called a U-wang called Tat. I don’t really know how to read it. The entrance fee was 55,000 Kip, including parking fee. There is a restaurant before going to the waterfall. I guess everyone is here for lunch. Let’s go. There seems to be an ice cream shop over there too. Even the trash cans have a certain charm. It suits this background. We arrived at a place that looked like a view point. It says, “Be careful, it’s slippery.” That’s amazing. I go up to see the spectacular view, but I go down to see the waterfall. It’s going to be expensive on the way home, but that’s okay. It’s really impressive. I want to go there, but I’m afraid I’ll get soaked. That’s amazing. It’s like it’s already raining over there, wow, wow, wow, wow. This is upstream. That’s amazing. The waterfall from earlier is flowing down from here. It looks like that restaurant I went to earlier. I’m standing in a beautiful place. We reached the last waterfall. I bought a ticket there. Let’s go. Apparently you can swim in the waterfall here. Look, there are people swimming. I’ll just put my feet in. I came in a swimsuit, but it looks cold. cold. It’s best not to swim here because it’s cold and there are some strange insects. Suddenly a group of young people showed up and they had beer and stuff, so it was like having a picnic over there. That’s nice. Today we saw three waterfalls called the Four Sisters. The water was beautiful everywhere, and each waterfall had a different feel, so it was fun. We also had a zipline at the beginning, which made the whole day really fun. I went to a place where tea and coffee were made. I’m glad it was Morisawa-san’s day. Thank you, driver. It’s not expensive at $35. I came back safely. Thank you for your help for two days. thank you. I’m over there, driver. I ordered Pad Thai. seafood. Please take a look. This fork is interesting. Straight. It’s not bent. It’s hard to eat. This soup is delicious. The soup stock is strong and the taste is light. This is a market, or rather, it’s the same shopping mall we came to before, and at night they sell fruits and other things. good morning. It’s just before 7am now. It’s always extremely hot during the day, so today I would like to get up a little early and go for a walk around the river. The temperature in the morning is now 23°. cool. I’ve been walking along the river for a long time now, and I came across a road like this. Maybe the people who live here have started putting up parasols while walking. It’s a bit of a slope here, but I’m walking up and down here. There are two large bridges in Pakse. You can walk along the Mekong River from bridge to bridge. It was good. Challenge yourself to walk today in the morning. I woke up early. I recommend this place for a morning walk. It’s so beautiful. Even if you walk along the river like that, stairs will come up every now and then, so you can climb up properly. When you walk around Pakse, you can clearly see from the buildings that it used to be a French colony. It seems like everyone is still living in these buildings. And it’s lively in the morning. I came to a cafe diagonally in front of the hotel where I was staying. This place is called Vida Cafe. The reviews said it was good. They didn’t have almond croissants, so I ordered a latte and coconut bread. It’s 42,000 keep. I wanted to eat papaya salad, so I searched all over the place and came across this restaurant. At first they said no, but after I insisted, they made it for me. It comes with soup and is delicious, but extremely spicy. There are small fish in it like this, and I just noticed that the papaya salad has raw green beans in it. This soup came with me, and it contained a mysterious food like the liver from the other day. This is the restaurant we went to today. It was small, but delicious. It’s been a while since I wrote a review on Google Maps. good morning. Now I’m off to Don Dead. It’s now 8 o’clock in the morning. I’m going to an island called Dondead, and I’m going to take that bus. It costs $6 and includes a ferry. This bus VIP also serves sandwiches, water, and coffee. I was in the first seat. Reserved seats.
