After a week on the North Island, we’re heading to the South Island today! First stop after leaving Wellington… On board the plane, New Zealand’s famous cookie time was handed out The fjord from above was so beautiful I kept looking at it. Queenstown, “a city fit for a queen,” surrounded by the beauty of the Southern Alps and lakes. About an hour and a half in the air, the view over QT was spectacular. Picking up our luggage and heading to the rental car pick up and drop off point I had heard that the South Island is colder than the North Island, but today it’s warmer, 22 degrees Celsius Isn’t this it, mode? We’re going to the car rental agency in the pickup truck. The view of the mountains from the window is so amazing, I’m already impressed The car rental cost over 400,000 yen if we took the route south from Christchurch, so we decided to take the route north from Queenstown! I’m going to take Yaris Cross around the South Island. We’re getting a car and heading into town The view is so spectacular that I pulled over and parked my car Wow! Amazing! Mountains! Oh no! That’s amazing! Here we are in Queenstown! I’m already falling in love with this city I can’t check in yet, so I’m here at Skyline first. I heard that the parking lot just down the street automatically takes your license plate number, so you can enter your number here on the way back. If you’re a Skyline rider, you can get a discount if you scan that ticket. The Skyline offers a panoramic view of Queenstown. The activity called luge is popular as well as the gondola. Came here for the fun of the luge where you can experience Mario Karting ♩Purchased a gondola and 3 tickets Let’s go for a ride! First they take a souvenir photo, I heard you can buy it with QR, but I’ve never bought such a thing. The view is spectacular, just like in Switzerland There are restaurants and souvenir stores Heading to the LUGE boarding area as soon as possible Over there ->.
There’s hiking too~ It looks like we can take another lift up from here! Looks like fun ♩ First we put on helmets, some with Gopro etc. Real Mario Kart through spectacular scenery!
There are two different courses with branches along the way! First-time riders take a lesson. After the first class, you get a stamp on your arm, so from the second time on, you just show it to them. The first time you take the course, you go on a gentle course The scenery and the exhilaration of speed along the way is very nice! Second ride on the lift again.
I got a good feel for it the first time, so I’m going to take a steeper route next time! It’s starting to rain a little… Last 3rd ride It was a great time to really play with beautiful scenery ♩ It was so much fun! I heard that if you scan the helmet, you can see the picture There was a locker, for one thing. but it was totally doable with a backpack on my back It was so much fun! Back to seeing the souvenir stores and enjoying the scenery! Holding up the photo pass given to you at the beginning of the tour, you can view and purchase photos taken in front of the gondola. I love the scenery in Queenstown, very similar to Switzerland! We parked in the parking lot for about 2 1/2 hours.

There’s a wood stove. Refrigerator is stocked with breakfast There’s cereal, jam, coffee. It looks like you could live there with all the cooking utensils and dishes Shallow but complete bathtub Bedrooms on upper floor And you can see this spectacular view from the bed Free laundry anytime with laundry is great Never before or since have I been so impressed with a room in New Zealand! Staying here for 2 nights with beautiful views of Lake Wakatipu and the mountains! We leave the car at the hotel and take a walk into town Every view is filled with natural beauty I’m captivated by the beauty of nature as far as the eye can see Out in Queenstown Gardens. That’s amazingly good! Queenstown On one side of this gate are the names of those who died in WWI
On the other side are the names of those who returned I thought I’ve seen something like this before, but it was someone who was on the same bus at Tongariro on North Island! It’s a miracle that we met again even though we are on the South Island! William Rees, the Englishman who discovered this place.

Morning in Queenstown with perfect weather. Very happy and luxurious time with beautiful mountains and lakes all around I’m going to have breakfast with the FERGBAKER I bought yesterday The donuts are excellent! The view makes the meal taste many times better! I spent the morning in my room because I wanted to enjoy the time in my room! It’s crazy nice weather! Your room is here.
I’m going out. I’m going to go for a little hike today We’re going to drive up to the top of the hill and go hiking for an hour or two from there~! Just a little bit higher up the hill is a spectacular view of Queenstown You can park your car here, so here’s where we’re going to start. I would like to do a trek called Queenstown Hill Walkway. It’s about a 1.5 to 2.5 hour trek!

India is by far the best. Hot pie is pretty sweet, not what I imagined.

I didn’t feel like I was getting much for my money because of the weak yen. I was able to get around the center of Queenstown on foot. I’m very happy to make love to you for 3 days and 2 nights in Queenstown Moving on to the next town, Te Anau Queenstown was crazy good!
The scenery was beautiful everywhere. So far… or rather, in the city of New Zealand. I like this place the best. I may have another good town in the future, but I really liked it here!
