  2. Fantastic narration & I appreciate your efforts in making such excellent video with perfect visuals. What an incredible beautiful village especially the model village which is so captivating, must thank the folks who innovated such wonder with brilliant minds & hard working hands.. beautiful houses & church & Appuldurcombe house 😍😍 you made my day 😊 thank u as always.

  3. Wonderful video. I would take a pedantic moment to point out that you keep showing Appluldurcombe as it is now, very Georgian and classical, and calling it Baroque. Probably it was built to be Baroque, considering the building date, but what we are looking at is most certainly not Baroque — so that' just a touch confusing. The journey, the views, the model village — all superb, so thank you so much!

  4. What a nice birthday surprise! I just adore these videos of the little towns & villages. The model was most impressive. Many thanks again!❤

  5. I really enjoyed the tour of the model village as I'm fascinated by miniatures. When I visit England this September I plan to visit Windsor and Queen Mary's dollhouse is on my agenda. I plan to rewatch your video on Windsor before I go. And the donkeys, how adorable!

  6. Never thought there was so much to see and enjoy. What an island, highlights for us were the model village and those beautiful, adorable donkeys – we have a very soft spot for those animals. Looking forward to the next video of that gorge.

  7. What a lovely church and village. I love the history. The cottages look so nice. The miniature village is amazing. The gardens are exquisite. A tremendous work of art. Most intriguing. I adore the donkeys. The architecture of the homes is so beautiful. This has been a wonderful video. Thanks so much for sharing. I've enjoyed the Ile of Wight.🥰

  8. Thank your for another fabulous video. I love the the beauty and the history you provide in all your videos, and I am tempted to visit the places you go to – so once again I will have to see if I might some day get to 😊visit too. Have a lovely week 🌺🌼🌸🌞🥰

  9. Gosh my mum and I had to laugh! Poor mum she has lost vision on the left side of each eye due to a stroke in 2023. When you were panning the camera over the model village church, she thought it was a drone shot of a church 🤣

We absolutely love your videos! One day I will make it to the donkey rescue and adopt one, hopefully they let Aussies adopt 😅

  10. Very charming and so many places to visit that include some for FREE which is also a big plus. How many of the trees in the Model Village were Bonsai? They looked incredible! The work and maintenance, the place looked incredible. Your films certainly show there is so much to see and do on this little patch of England – it looks as delightful as it ever was. Thanks – I've finally joined X, are you there?

  11. That is one magical village. Each building so gorgeous. And the miniature village. Wow. The buildings are so impressive but also the landscaping. 🤩 And the donkeys 🫏 ❤

  12. Thank for sharing, such a beautiful little village the isle of Wight beautiful little chocolate box cottages. The donkey sanctuary is so gorgeous, so wonderful to know that animals are helped.

  13. Thanks for the wonderful look at this beautiful and historic village. I especially enjoyed the good look at the model village, it's hard to believe someone had the patience and skill to build such a gem.

  14. Well normal service resumed Simon, hopefully you'll remember we were a little put off with the commercialisation at Alum Bay, well we've just watched your Yarmouth and Godshill films back to back and they're exactly what we like to see in your films, it's reinforced to us that we need to visit the IOW, but not maybe Alum Bay 😂.

  15. So interesting and beautiful village. I loved model village and Appuldurcombe! A little sad that I'm so far away to pay a visit 😢 Nevertheless, thank you so much for sharing those precious things! ❤

  16. Hid Will in the boot this go-round, did we? 😁

Must say, didn't expect the spelling of Appuldurcombe the first time you spoke it!

Your whole production is very skilled, Simon, from well-composed shots to properly-paced pans, concise monologues (and selfie segments), clean editing and music selection. I will put my vote in for continuing to use your signature "appearing and disappearing" destination name at the top of the show, though!

A pleasure to "travel" with you. ✌️😊
