Chidorigafuchi walking tour viewing sakura at Tokyo, Japan in spring 2025.
In the spring of 2025, I went for a stroll around Chidorigafuchi in Tokyo, admiring the cherry blossoms. This is the most famous cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo, and on weekends it is crowded with tens of thousands of people. What looks like a pond is the moat of the Imperial Palace, a remnant of the defensive structure of the castle. Even though it no longer serves as a moat, it still fills with water and provides entertainment for people.
