“Walking Through Harajuku: From Laforet to Takeshita Street and Harajuku Station”
Blogger Post:
Harajuku is known for its vibrant fashion scene, youthful energy, and unique culture. In this walking tour, I started at Laforet, a landmark shopping center known for its trendy and high-fashion stores. From there, I strolled down the bustling Takeshita Street, lined with quirky shops, street food vendors, and crowds of tourists and locals alike.
Takeshita Street is a must-see for anyone visiting Tokyo, offering a glimpse into Japan’s youth culture, with everything from colorful fashion to kawaii-themed stores. The walk ended at Harajuku Station, a gateway to the rest of Tokyo, but not before taking in all the excitement Harajuku has to offer. If you’re looking to experience the heart of Tokyo’s fashion district, this route is perfect for a fun and energetic day out!

Adult Beginner Piano Progress 🎹 from October 2023
I started to read music sheet and practice piano from October 2023. Before that, I play chord on piano but did not know how to read music sheet and play piano. It’s my record of piano journey in order to motivate beginners like me.
At the first month I used “Burnam Piano – A dozen a day” to learn the basic. It’s hard to get used to play with both hands and reading music score.
Little by little I get used to play piano and,
I learn “Canon – Pachelbel” easy ver.
Still it was hard to read music score. So I used Piano keys stamp and write on the music score. Also I learn how to read music score. I learned a lot from reading score on desk, without playing piano. Of course playing piano is essential. But it was nice to read, write and understand the score. How chord works, bass note, and octave movement of notes (interval on notes).
I started “For Elise – Beethoven” (easy ver.) I only play easy ver.
I started to play with music score, and it is without writing “Do Re Mi” on score(normal score). I upgraded from super beginner score to beginner score. At 4 month passed (Month 5).
At Month 5, I start to play easy ver. of
“La Campanella – Franz Liszt”
“Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence – Ryuichi Sakamoto / 戦場のメリークリスマス – 坂本龍一”
“Gymnopedie No.1 – Erik Satie”
“energy flow – Ryuichi Sakamoto 坂本龍一”
At month 6, I start to play
“Asience – Ryuichi Sakamoto 坂本龍一”
“Hanon”
and learn music theory; scale, chord progression and mode.
At month7
“The Girl from Ipanema”
“Just the two of us”
Still it’s impossible to play smoothly, but I continue my piano journey. 🙂
