About the Cherry Blossom Trees at Gongendo Park
Gongendo Tsutsumi (Gongendo Embankment), located in Satte City, Saitama Prefecture, is one of Japan’s most beautiful cherry blossom viewing spots. In spring, over 1,000 cherry trees bloom along a stunning 1-kilometer-long path, forming a breathtaking cherry blossom tunnel.

Beneath the cherry trees, bright yellow rapeseed flowers bloom at the same time, creating a vivid and colorful contrast — a unique and unforgettable view that attracts both locals and tourists.

The best time to visit is usually late March to early April, when the Satte Cherry Blossom Festival is held. During the festival, you can enjoy food stalls, local treats, and traditional Japanese spring vibes.
