Where Nature and History Meet: Gujō’s Kokindenju Field Museum

Join us for a tour of the Kokin Denju Field Museum, located in Gujō City, Gifu Prefecture. The museum is home to the ruins of the Tō clan’s medieval castle, garden and manor, registered in 2024 as a national historic site. In addition, the museum complex includes a literature and historic museum as well as a shrine with roots dating back to the thirteen century.

Gujō city is located between Nagoya and Takayama on the Tōkai Hokuriku Highway and is easily accessible via highway bus.
