Sunshine Coast 2025! 🇦🇺 Australia Zoo, Ginger Factory, Glasshouse Mountains & MORE! | Vlog

Australia Zoo, The Ginger Factory, Glasshouse Mountains & MORE! Sunshine Coast Attractions Vlog! Join me as I travel to the Sunshine Coast for a little getaway! We visit a few attractions, including Australia Zoo—home of Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, the Ginger Factory—home to Australia’s best dark ride, stay in the Crocodile Hunter Lodge accommodation and visit the beautiful Glasshouse Mountains Lookout!

This is a longer, mega video, encompassing all the Vlogs made on our trip, as well as some bonus content you can only find here, such as our visit to the towns of Mooloolaba and Caloundra!

After our tough start to the year in 2025 (with the death of a family member) we all decided we needed a breakaway, and we decided on the Sunshine Coast! We started by leaving the Gold Coast in the morning, and arrived at the Glasshouse Mountains lookout, which gave a fantastic view of these beautiful and iconic natural wonders.

We then checked in to the Crocodile Hunter Lodge, which is Australia Zoo’s Accommodation. I give a tour of our three bed room Emu cabin, show off the ground , the included meals and talk about it’s costs.

It was then off to The Ginger Factory! A fantastic free attraction that has a lot on offer, including a fun Train Ride, rainforest walk, Zog trail and much more. It’s also home to Overboard, a dark ride with the Gingerbread Man inspired by It’s a Small World! Overboard is one of Australia’s Hidden Gems and doesn’t get talked about enough in the Theme Park Community.

After our trip to the Ginger Factory we have a quick look at one of Australia’s Big Things: The Big Pineapple! We then travel to the town of Mooloolaba and look around The Wharf there, have dinner at the really good SPERO Greek Restaurant, and accidently lose $50 in an Arcade (at least we got to play a lot of Time Crisis 2!)

We then head to Australia Zoo, home to the Steve Irwin, The Crocodile Hunter! We spend two days at this world class, world famous zoo, enjoying the Animals, Zoo Grounds and much more. There’s Elephants, Tigers, Giraffes, Cheetahs and lots of Australian Animals like Koalas, Kangaroos and of course, Crocodiles!

We end the trip by visiting Caloundra for the first time, having dinner at the fantastic Amici Italian Restaurant!

The Sunshine Coast is located in QLD, Australia! 🇦🇺 About 40 mins from Brisbane and 60 mins from the Gold Coast, traffic depending lol
