When you think of Japan, the image of Mount Fuji is an instant icon that comes to mind – so we’ve always wanted to go and see it in person. Two vlogs in one week!!! 🥳
My Mt Fuji day was ruined by driving rain, No cable car ride or lake ride. We waited for as long as possible. Our tour guide gave up, we all agreed to go on. We all saw Mt Fuji from the air on our 747 from Osaka to Tokyo. She was still surrounded by clouds. Her peak visible from very high upl I share your disappointment. 😢.
The colours look so beautiful, and somehow unique to Japan. Bummer about the colour blindness, Dane 😂

It was just announced that Sakura cherry blossoms just started blooming in Osaka city,Japan yesterday so They will be fully blooming here in a week.
Actually I might joint a event of meetup Osaka to walk in Kema Sakuranomiya park,Osaka,Japan in the evening tomorrow probably it would be a wee bit early to see them.

looooooooooool poor Stacey's face! Dango has a particular taste & texture its true XD I had bad luck at Chureito Pagoda too haha. I've been told winter is your best chance to see Fuji, or you try staying overnight and then waking up SUPER early before the crowds come over (somewhere on Kawaguchiko lakeshore seems to be best and I really enjoyed staying overnight there) I see you've discovered the joy of the Hot Drinks from vending machines! You can find them in the kombini's too – all the stuff in the "red" fridge are hot

Sometimes Mt. Fuiji can be a hit or miss. We lucked out and was able to take pictures of MT. Fuji on a clear day. Harriet and I recommend that you try in mid September which seems
to be the sweet spot for views. Looks like you guys had a great time there despite the haze and clouds. The food always good. Hope you guys are doing ok. How is Nalu doing with his

I can relate. I live in the Pacific Northwest, and while Mount Hood and Mount Rainier look spectacular on a beautiful day, it’s always disappointing when those peaks are shrouded by clouds and rain.
Wish the weather was clear to see Mt. Fuji… but overall, the place is beautiful especially the autumn leaves, makes it even more colorful.

We went to Japan in April 24, exactly the same for us, we spent 3 days in The Mt Fuji region and not a single sight of it.😂
The first time I went to see Fuji, it was so foggy you couldn't see the side of the road from the bus 🤣. Glad you guys finally made it to Japan and so glad you had fun!
