On this special journey, we—young travelers—had the privilege of being guided by Father Fx. Trần Văn Hoài, a Vietnamese Franciscan friar in Assisi. With his deep knowledge and gentle words, he led us through this holy town, where the hymn “Brother Sun, Sister Moon” seems to echo in every corner.

    Very beautiful places, and in a remarkably good state of preservation. They even preserved many of the medieval frescoes so you can imagine what they looked like in antiquity. I'd love to go there someday.

    Assisi is my favorite place, I been there twice, in 2005 and 2015, especialy at night time no more tourist, so peaceful and quiet.

    Piano music isn't associated with Assisi or sacred things. It is a music hall or pub sing along instrument. There is better more appropriate music. Assisi isn't Disneyland.
