VAN LIFE. My 1st Week of FULL TIME ARCTIC VAN LIVING ALONE. Heavy Rain Storm Cozy Solo RV Camping
The heavy rain is pouring down in thunderous cascades. I am 100% Off-Grid with my van as usual. After surviving a hard winter of extreme blizzard and snow storm camping, I am ready for Cozy Spring and summer adventures in my RV luxury van! Cooking, Relaxing, Reading & Sheltering in Hail & Heavy Rain Storms. I decided to move into my cozy luxury van, travel full time and see what vanlife alone is actually like. I had spent the previous summer and winter in the van riding out thunderstorms, snow storms, blizzards and freezing temperatures, but now it was time for full time summer van life in the Arctic. Come along for my first week of living full time in the van in the challenges of the Arctic, driving to the remote arctic in intense torrential rain storms with rain, thunder and lightning and other ASMR ingredients #vanlife #vanliving #heavyrain #raincamping
My van is a Fiat Ducato, FWD with Nokian Winter Tires. This is the same as a Ram Promaster in the USA and Canada but with a diesel engine and manual transmission.

Surviving my 3nd Winter of Extreme Van Life, Blizzard, Snow Storm Camping & Freezing Cold which includes:
This is my complete second winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in November I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from November to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
I also show you what I learn as I go from my second winter in the van.
About me: I am a Norwegian adventurer and wilderness explorer. My youtube channel focus on outdoor wilderness adventures and exploration, backpacking, hiking, canyoneering, skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Nights spent in a tent, alone or with friends. From the snow covered mountains and misty fjords of Norway and Scandinavia to the remote plateaus of Yellowstone and the debts of the red canyons of Utah to the summit of Mt Whitney and the heart of Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park. I love the Wilderness! Email is under “For business inquiries”, for general questions please comment on a video, I try to answer everyone.

Bro the stuff that you reading from good for the eyes??
The virus that starts with a C? Or Noro? Anyhow, feel better. 👍🏻 Video
It may not be the relay which is faulty by the wirings !
Check out all the wirings and connectors of the relay and the glow plugs.
Love the wild flowers, scenery and the herd of wildlife. Nice job on the window cover, sis! Love the sound of the rain 🙂 Heck no to those mosquitoes! That would be extremely annoying to deal with. I can hear the buzzing already being from the Florida panhandle. They were just daring you to open that door lol…
First of all the views are all breathe taking, I loved the rain sound on the van very soothing…thanks for sharing your journey.🥰
I never get tired of watching your videos 😊
Wow! What a difference between summer and winter, but equally beautiful! Thanks for a lovely video 😊 I think you should do a video of all your favorite places, that would be great 👍🏻
Hey, Jarl, another breathtaking video.
Can't wait for the hiking for summer. I just finished the video on your hiking channel.
Ugh, the Mosquitoes!! That right there is why, I camp from home, and just watch Jarl handle things, That being said, I love a good thunderstorm, and watching rain on a window. A very picturesque video, but I can't help thinking about "the virus" I am glad to hear that you are well, but 3 weeks of misery is just too much for us "older folks". But you are able to "camp" in my favorite van, it's cozier than the other one. Thank you for the great video, Cheers with a morning cup of Java.☕☕
I notice every time you're driving And you look at the scenery, it looks as if you're driving into a painting. Only god can create something as beautiful as this. Blessed
Jarl your country Norway is absolutely gorgeous along with Sweden, this is definitely a different perspective viewing it in summer versus winter im speechless, I'll say it again your one lucky individual my brother, I absolutely love everything that you are doing living full time in your Van what an awesome way to live, luv how you are carving your own path, Stay safe and healthy My friend 🇺🇲👍😎💯
Need to teach you how to make vegetables
My favorite channel!! ❤❤
Back to 24 ! How different and green in the ☀️ summer fantastic lakes
Rain blizzard it's like living in the UK lol Dave😊
My wife wants to see inside the stores. Isn’t that interesting? 😆
夏天开始了啊
Looks like a gentle mix between Appalachia and the American northwest. Some beautiful country out there. Don’t let it get destroyed by corporate greed like we’ve done here.
great to start the Sunday morning with a relaxing video, thank you.
Wow amazing place love it
It was really interesting looking at how different the countryside is where you are. It is stunning, but where do you guys grow food? I saw a lot of big red buildings that looked like barns next to tiny fields that would never produce enough to fill them. Even areas of grassland at the bottom of valleys looked uncultivated. The region of England I live in is quite like Denmark, where you see big fields of crops everywhere.
Winter is great for not dealing with mosquitos and other insects . Don't know how they' penetrate the tough hide of the Bison 🦬 .. keep on keeping on Jarl ..
"Hidden in wonder and snow, or sudden with summer, This land stares at the sun in a huge silence Endlessly repeating something we cannot hear. Inarticulate, arctic, Not written on by history, empty as paper, It leans away from the world with songs in its lakes Older than love, and lost in the miles.” ~ Francis Reginald Scott, Laurentian Shield ~
Loved the long video version as it really makes for a more immersive experience even though I am well aware it represents more work for you. As usual the level of quality is one of the best around on YouTube. Thank you for sharing, and keep up your great work as it lifts up many spirits all over the world, best regards from Portugal!
Rain can give such poetic images (first half of video) : dropping tears of sorrow on your windowpane, or fine needles hitting the glass. I loved the green landscape with the magnificent blue sky white clouded, and on 2:10:50 that gorgeous immense sky above the lake. And then… summer in the Arctic ! Curious to watch what will be following…..
Great video always watch your you tube channel 👍👍
Blue beautiful clip and dub wise sound. so What are you feeling right now?
👍
