Secret Springboks Market Hunt in Cape Town ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ vA 170

I roam around the CBD of Cape Town, in South Africa.
First, we go to see a market in front of the Town Hall, with a beautiful view over the Table mountain in the backdrop. I meet a friendly Congolese man, and I continue towards Green square. I buy a shirt of the Springboks, I meet one of the many groups of you people singing in the downtown area every Saturday, and I finally reach the tourist market where I can bargain for a batik and a beautiful African mask. The haggling sessions are always funny in the African tourist markets.
This video gives an idea of how is the CBD of Cape Town on a Saturday, probably the best day to visit this part of the city.

  2. oh, my! cape town is so dirty now!
'summer' starting? NO, it's AUTUMN starting.
    ripping off the tourists.
just say NO. they are very persistant! becomes a nuisance.

  3. Kino I remember few kilometers to cape town an old man told you Capetownian are friendly but don't trust anyone except you yourself, I wondered a haircut of 1580000 Uganda ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ฌ shillings all that was fraud, scammers.they took advantage of u

  4. Ok- so you have arrived in Cape Town- but itโ€™s time to get out of the touristy holes โ€ฆ and come find what we are actually all about, who we really are and what we, the real capetonians are likeโ€ฆ ag man please Tjom.

Ask everyone; โ€œ praat jy Afrikaans?โ€ And if they canโ€™t- keep walking boet!

  5. You really rock the Springbok shirt. Hope you had a chance to watch a rugby game at the stadium and experience real South African culture. On game day you mingle with white, black and coloured South Africans and you can see for yourself what the rainbow nation is all about.

  6. It's depressing that ordinary native South Africans faced down colonial armies, police & soldiers on urban & township streets, bearing the full brunt of centuries of authoritarian violence….only for the ANC to open the borders to millions of foreign people over the last 30 years, while doing nothing to have an industrial policy to improve the structural circumstances of the underclass, allowing South Africans to self-actualize in their own cities, instead of being continually displaced for cheap commerce and cheap labour & organized crime, for the ruling elite to short-cut rent-seek off of.

Places like Johannesburg and Cape Town CBD are genuinely depressing.

    A people's struggle betrayed.

  7. Good to see your normal videos๐Ÿ‘ I must say, your a terrible housekeeper, your room is very untidy, Kino ๐Ÿ˜‚ Looking forward to the next, video ๐Ÿ˜Š

  8. This probably the best video I've watched on your channel ever ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜
But you know what is very funny with it? The first remote controls guys he just went to the point I'm a "French man " and started a conversation in french. But those three guys the two with paintings and one with masks I really don't understand why they are busy pretending to be South Africans ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ those two with paintings are my brothers from Malawi you can easily catch them on pronouncing of later L and R ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜† and just after Eyve left they started talking using our mother language but they already said they are Zulus ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿ˜† then the last guy I'm not sure where is he from but the original Xhosa can not and will never fail to pronounce the word Xhosa hahaha. Guys it's not like someone who's not ready to buy can just buy because you are a South African ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ

  9. you gotta get out of this damn city kino, seems like everyone is just lying/sweet talking/wanting alot more out of u, its hard to see

  10. None of those street vendors you interacted with are from South africa ๐Ÿ‡ฟ๐Ÿ‡ฆ. Their accents gave them away. ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ kwa zulu natal ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  11. Why are all these guys not telling the truth where they are from? The last guy is the worst he can't even pronounce the word Xhosa properly, yet he claims he is from Eastern Cape๐Ÿ˜‚

  12. Ma femme et moi suivons tes aventures. Tu nous as fait dรฉcouvrir de magnifiques rรฉgions et des cultures variรฉes. Nous sommes du Quรฉbec et nous te remercions pour toutes ces belles dรฉcouvertes !

  13. Toronto Blue Jays represented! Guy in the thumbnail wearing their cap. I wonder if he has any idea who they are or where Toronto is?

  14. Welcome to CTown Yves. Just a side note. Please don't overpay for things. It drives up prices for locals. On another note the guy you were asking how to pronounce "Xhosa" is not a South African and has no idea.
