Since it was snowing too much that day, we decided to go to Ishiuchi Maruyama Ski Resort instead of a higher-altitude resort. This ski resort is located closer to town.
Ishiuchi Maruyama is the northernmost of the three resorts that make up the “Yuzawa Snow Link.”
It features a large ski area with various snow activities!
The main slopes are quite steep, which might be challenging for beginners.
For those new to skiing or snowboarding, we recommend the “Hatsukaishi” slope on the southern side, which is much gentler!
