Surviving Deadly Winter Conditions: Battling BLIZZARD SNOW STORM & Sheltering Van Camping in Forest

❄️🌨️ Van Life Solo Winter Camping in Snow Storm & Extreme Weather conditions Forced me to Shelter in Arctic Forest. Winter survival alone in a cozy off-grid van in the harshest deadly conditions. I try to escape a GIANT blizzard and extreme snow storm that are forecast to reach hurricane force and also get extreme freezing temperatures with windchill of -40°. I am tired of the extreme arctic snow storm solo camping by now so I try to find an off road van life camping site that will keep me sheltered where I can hunker down and ride out these ice snownado tornado blizzards. I go on a creepy hike, drive trough some extreme road conditions from the arctic ocean to the heart of the arctic fjords. I go on a scary hike in the snowy wood, suffer a van breakdown slash emergency and I am caught in massive storms and blizzards in extreme cold, windchill down to minus 40°f and it is a battle for survival in these very real deadly conditions. I am close to the northern, harshest place in the arctic. I make coffee, cook hot dogs with jalapeños and have a cozy time in the van despite the challenges. Also a quick reveal of my camera gear towards the end of the video.

Surviving my 2nd Winter of Extreme Van Life, Blizzard, Snow Storm Camping & Freezing Cold which includes:
This is my complete second winter of Winter Van Life in extreme conditions in the North, living in a van during freezing temperatures. Starting in November I go through the whole winter season of snowy winter adventures from November to April, with snow storms, blizzards, extreme cold, extreme snowfall, slippery roads and some amazing winter beauty as well.
I also show you what I learn as I go from my second winter in the van.

About me: I am a Norwegian adventurer and wilderness explorer. My youtube channel focus on outdoor wilderness adventures and exploration, backpacking, hiking, canyoneering, skiing, climbing and mountaineering. Nights spent in a tent, alone or with friends. From the snow covered mountains and misty fjords of Norway and Scandinavia to the remote plateaus of Yellowstone and the debts of the red canyons of Utah to the summit of Mt Whitney and the heart of Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park in the United States of America. I love the Wilderness! Email is under “For business inquiries”, for general questions please comment on a video, I try to answer everyone.

  1. Even though I’m on the opposite side of the climate spectrum (Philippines), I thoroughly enjoy your videos. The cinematography, soundtracks, and commentary are fantastic. Wish you continued success!

  2. Almost surreal to see the icy tendrils of wind flowing over the terrain and highway. Beautifully bleak, Jarl. And amazing.

  3. I like how you intersperse your post-coffee making planning commentary with scenery. Such a nice artifact of your cinematography. I hope you are selling your photography. Finally, never too many Arctic winter storm videos!

  4. Hello Mr. Snowman: Another video of sheer awesomeness, Your video's are so inspiring Thank you for all the hard work you put into them and for freely sharing them with us. Take good care and stay warm & stay safe. (Get a dog)

  5. I Love that harsh weather! The truck nice and warm and having back-up everything just in case, heat, a way to cook, blankets and a negative temp sleeping bag…. Also a good quality shortwave radio to listen to and ham radio with plenty of output power…. PARADISE FOR ME !!!!! Maybe a female if she comes with a roll of duct tape for quiet time … LOL… They help keep the sleeping bag warm !!! The radios for me are a must – I'm hooked on them now for 50+ years, you know the global contacts never get old and the shortwave has programming you will never get anywhere else – EVER !!! Thanks for the video, stay safe bc you are right, ITS DANGEROUS out there – always have good quality back-ups fully stocked !!!!!

  6. Is there no heat around the battery ??? As soon as I wrote this you put the hose in the battery compartment.. I knew there had to an easy way to heat the battery ….
