Hi Paddy. You said there was fresh pineapple upon arriving that got me thinking you could film a video just on food for tourists like what to stay away from and what is safe. I was in Hua Hin and while spending the day at the beach I ate some fresh fruit from a walking vender that I think got me sick? It would be nice to know what is safe to eat while in Thailand also what to drink. In mexico it is said to look for a hole in ice cubes and stay away from chunks as they have bacteria in them. I also ate a shrimp lunch on a sailing day trip in Cabo that got both my girlfriend and I sick. Now I am just too cautious on food and drinks to fully enjoy my trips.

I guess the real down side to this lifestyle is having to spend so much time alone. As you approach 40 and beyond, you will regret the time spent away.
You keep mentioning how quiet it is, does that mean there’s no hum of diesel generators? That is the bane of most secluded island resorts. So how exactly does this resort get its electricity?
Well Paddy after your recent busy road trip in Northern Thailand, you needed time to relax, looks superb. I am just back in Australia after my second trip to Thailand in 6 months. You inspired me to continue to explore this lovely country.
