長野県にある温泉、渋温泉。9つの外湯をめぐる、九湯めぐりで有名な温泉地です。今回は9つすべての外湯と、温泉街の裏山にある神社やお寺をめぐります。この神社やお寺に続く道は、御利益散歩道と呼ばれています。温泉街や山際の道をのんびりと散歩する時間は、渋温泉の歴史の豊かさを感じる穏やかなひとときでした。

Shibu Onsen, a hot spring located in Nagano Prefecture, is famous for its “nine baths” tour, which takes guests to visit nine outside bathhouses. We will visit all nine baths, as well as temples and shrines located in the hills behind the hot spring resort. The path leading to these temples and shrines is called the Blessings Walking Path. A leisurely walk through the hot spring resort and along the paths by the mountains was a peaceful time to experience the rich history of Shibu Onsen.
