  1. just a clarification point. Technically, fuel is subsidised. However, note, too, that M'sia is a Net Fuel producer. We produce enough fuel for domestic consumption, in fact, way more. Whatever we're selling out of M'sia, based on crude prices, are profits. We are technically NOT subsidising in that sense. If by subsidy you mean for the volume domestic used, we earn less, than yes. The country doesn't really pay actual money out for the subsidy. It doesn't cost the government anything. The fuel belongs to the people anyway.

  2. I hope this comment finds you well..when you arrive in Sarawak. Do not pet the stray dogs and cat here. They may be rabid. Sarawak has ongoing rabies outbreak since 2017, and there are still human rabies fatalities in recent years. You can read it up. We still welcome you to explore Sarawak. Love your videos.

  3. Hey guys because you have aggressive mud tyres on with the really chunky tread you loose a lot of traction on wet roads so drive to the conditions, you can really here the tyre road noise hey! Be safe, great episode, God Bless.

  4. im smiling throughout the video, happy to have you back in Malaysia and on a journey again, love the video and both of you, stay safe and enjoy

  5. Another small trivia. Tho I'm M'sian and I love Mount K, the claim that it is the tallest mountain in South East Asia is not true at all. If you count Myanmar (ex-Burma) as part of SEA, Myanmar is adjacent to the Himalayas and certainly have taller peaks. Puncak Jaya, in Irian Jaya, the Indonesia part of Papua Island is the tallest mountain in Indonesia, which is also part of SEA, is 4,884 metres above the sea level, a good 700 metres taller than Mt. K. I don't know the tallest peak in Myanmar's name or height, but taller than Puncak Jaya and Mt. K. Having said, while I haven't been to Irian Jaya, I can say Mt Kinabalu is VERY VERY PICTURESQUE. Puncak Jaya looks very grand, too, based on Google, with a snow and ice cap. Check it out.

  6. Hello there, hope you both are always in good health. Be careful on the road. If you go to Sarawak, you will go through Beaufort town. if we're lucky, we'll meet in Beaufort town.

  12. Loved the part where you found those cool plants that close when touched! Have you ever seen anything like that before in your travels? So fascinating!

  13. Your video just made me as a Malaysian to appreciate our local scenery more. I used to travel to power plants frequently which passed by these kind of scenery but all I want is to quickly reach my destination and don’t really care whats around.
