Strawberry picking is a popular springtime tradition in Japan. From December to early May , you can enjoy all-you-can-pick and all-you-can-eat strawberries at farms all over the country. The ideal time to go strawberry picking is from January to April. if you’re looking to avoid crowds, visit the farms during the week as weekends tend to get busy.
However, you can still take strawberries take home if you purchase them from the store on site. The above rule is only for berries that you have picked. So go to the strawberry farm on an empty stomach for the best experience.
I must say, Japanese strawberries are the best in the world! My friends and I went to an all you can eat strawberry farm and we had the most amazing time.
This is the one of the best (thabehondai) ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT strawberry picking farm in Gunma prefecture. Nakano farm strawberry is the name of this strawberry picking farm.It opens at 9.00A.M to 5.00P.M. It gives 30 minutes per person for picking strawberries. For a person they charge ¥ 2000
