Thank you for your expertise and effort to make us familiar with other parts of the eternal city. As for the first stretch of the route which was not particularly pleasing to the eye but redeeming as it probably offers at least a partial indulgence. The wandering does induce reflection perhaps not on religious matters but rather on the inevitability of certain historical events. Isn’t always like that the advanced sophisticated civilisations fall victim to barbarism? Hard not to think and wonder whether we’re not going to have another reprise. Well, you asked us to contemplate so there you are. Anyway, a little sadddened but no less grateful I remain your keen follower. Love come sempre ❤
