I ride from the border between Namibia and South Africa, to Steinkopf, in South Africa.
South Africa is really insane, as I ride from one of the most extraordinary lodges I ever stayed at (a place where I could not pay for anything), to another extraordinary lodge, where the hosts give exceptionally low prices to cyclists and backpackers, and where the hosts go as far as creating a room out of nowhere, in order to be able to host cyclists when their guest house is full.

I started watching when you hit Kenya, and followed your previous journey just to catch up. From then, I've journeyed with you as you showed us other countries of the continent. We Africans share alot in common despite the cultural differences. Congratulations for accomplishing your goal of reaching South Africa. Must be a sigh of relief!

Be vey careful travel to Cape Town on the N7 for big trucks travelling towards Cape Town. It is a beautiful ride from Van Rhynsforl all the way
Happy that Kino is in South Africa. Sad the journey South is ending. It has been wonderful!

In South Africa, they can't take our Namibia dollars, but right now, I have thousands of South Africa Rands in my wallet…! I am watching from Henties Bay Town ,Namibia 🇳🇦 and I great my Kenya people!
