Located in Kawasaki City, right next to Tokyo, this large museum features around 25 traditional houses from various regions of Japan, some dating back several centuries. These houses have been carefully relocated here to preserve them and share their history with future generations.
Together, we’ll discover the unique characteristics of traditional Japanese architecture, from mud and thatch walls to thick, steep thatched roofs and wooden walls designed to withstand snow, as well as a glimpse into the everyday life of people in Japan long ago.
