“Sunrise on Mt Longed in Tanzania. We found a bush-man to guide us and started at 2:00am. The trail was barely more than a whisper in the night, through a dense, climbing strait up with no zig-zags. We were socked in all night, but when we crested the summit ridge, this amazing window of rolling clouds opened up. Pillowy airstreams pushing over the lip of the cliff, and rushing over the edge in rivulets. All of the little moments of friction required to get there were put in proper perspective. Night hikes for mountain sunrises are the absolute best.” Photo by @tedhesser
