【4K】Kawanoe Castle (Ehime) / 川之江城 (愛媛)
Walk-through movie of Kawanoe castle (川之江城), also called as Butsuden castle (仏殿城) that is a Japanese castle in Ehime pref. Located at Shiroyama hill faces Seto-Naikai sea, it stands at connecting point of four provinces / prefectures of Shikoku island. Originally it was built by Kawano clan but because of its geographical location it had been target of struggle between various powers. Later Kato clan reformed it into modern castle but was abolished by its move to Matsuyama castle. Most part of castle is imitation but original stone walls slightly remain around primary area.
