Guys, did it really take you 6 hours to go from Kokusai to Moiwa? Google Maps says 1.5 hours. I was planning on staying around Niseko and exploring a bunch of resorts all around – Kokusai, Kiroro, Rusutsu. But with multi-hour drives that's impossible…

Hey Dom I love your Video and just booked a flight to sapporo 2025 february, was wondering was it tricky to drive in the snowy conditions?
went last year for a month and had a blast. Currently planning 2025/26 for 3 months. My favs were probably furano and I have a weird soft spot for sapporo teine.
when you hiked up furano bowl did you overtake a kid and his dad walking up with skis?

Good work. But I see a few of your pow runs are under the lifts. You ever wonder why those are untouched? Because it's prohibited to ride under the chairs. While you guys are giving hi five those Japanese in the lift are probably saying something else

Yes, I stumbled on this, nearly mimics my plans. Moiwa- Kirroro- Furano- Asadake. Japan is mind blowing, powder days every day Jan, Feb.

I am going to japan in january and renting a rv for 2 weeks. How did you decide which routes and which resorts to go to? I was thinking of trying to go wherever the snow was best at that time but unsure if it will be that easy. Would love any tips you have on that or in general regarding travelling in an rv in the winter in hokkaido ei. where to park overnight etc.
Is it worth it to bring all the split board gear to Japan or just ride the mountain in bounds? It’s a lot of equipment to bring with two snowboards

I have a road trip planned for mid jan in hokkaido, I rented a 4×4 car. Hitting alot of resorts. Are road closures common during storms? How likely am I to get stranded somewhere if i dont have a hotel booked nearby? Thanks for any info! Sending Regardless!
