“I had seen photos of a suspension bridge quite near my hometown. One day I decided to check the place out, but it turned out the road to the parking lot had not been plowed. On a nearby road by a different parking area there was a sign marking a hiking path of four kilometers to the area of the suspension bridge. I thought the hike wouldn’t be too bad, so I parked my car there and started walking. There was A LOT of snow during the whole hike. Almost every step made me fall knee-deep in the snow. The hike turned out to be super exhausting, but eventually I made it there. The rapid flowing underneath the suspension bridge was stunning with the snowy land around it. This photo is taken standing half way through the bridge. The sun went down quite soon after I had arrived to my destination, so first of all I didn’t have much time for taking photos and second of all I had to hike back to my car in the darkness. The hike back was definitely not fun. Running out of energy in a pitch black forest with freezing temperatures is not my thing, but the photos that I got were absolutely worth all of it!” #MyCanonStory
