Did you ever find out what type of filling the little pies had?
The ferries look old school like the Star Ferry or the Sydney ferries – I like that! Kagoshima looks a nice, clean, safe city as does all of Japan tbh. Very interesting to see slices of different towns in Japan because I think we all have Tokyo as our impression and much like my national capital London isn't representative of how most people live, I guess most other capital cities aren't either. Enjoy the sail there!
So nice to see Kagoshima again. My brother is teaching and living there with his wife and family.😊
Neat video of Kagoshima. We are there in 3 days! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks so much for another wonderful and interesting video! 👍🤗🦁
Another lovely informative video 😊
I'd love to see a volcano- how fascinating.
The shopping complex looks so clean.
❤ your favourite Aussie follower 🦘
I wasnt able to comment for some reason on a few other videos but I wanted to say, (and now I forget where you were) in the lovely village/city where you both dressed up and married each other, was just so heartwarming and joyful.
What a delight you two are
Thanks 🥰
Very interesting and informative video 🙂
I live in Kagoshima. It's interesting to see a tourist point of view.
A few things:
– you pay for the ferry on the Sakurajima side no matter which way you travel. I'm sure that you figured that out
– Sakurajima doesn't really have hiking trails. It has walking paths that are near the water. There is a "no entry" zone around the volcano.
– people use umbrellas for rain… and sun because it gets very hot and humid in summer. If it ashes then they might use them for that. Winds bring ash into the city in summer.
– Tenmonkan is a nice area to walk around. It's just a shopping area but it's compact and easy to walk around.
– the "cakes" had bean paste in them
– you are right. Kagoshima isnt a huge tourist city. There are things to do but it's no Kyoto or Tokyo where there care dozens of cool things to do
It looks like you had OK weather. We had some terrible weather in May.
Could you give the guide to take the tram from the port? How far do you walk.to the tram station?
What app did you use for the taxi?
