“Magical ice on #LakeMichigan. My Instagram friend and I decided to meet up at the #lighthouse for some #sunset shots on the evening of March 16, 2017. The day before, we had a nice blanket of fresh snowfall, but it was warming up causing a rapid thaw. Luckily for us, beautiful ice still hung from the catwalk. As the sun began to set, the ice began to shimmer with a lovely golden glow. The magnificent ice formations constantly transform during the winter and leave many in awe.
