黃鶴樓位於湖北省武漢市武昌區，位於蛇山之巔，瀕臨萬裡長江，為武漢市地標建築。它建於三國吳黃武二年（223年），歷代屢加重修，現存建築以清代「同治樓」為原型設計，於1985年重建。黃鶴樓主樓為四邊套八邊形體、鋼筋混凝土框架仿木結構，通高51.4米（也有說法為50.4米），底層邊寬30米，頂層邊寬18米，飛簷五層，攢尖樓頂，頂覆金色琉璃瓦，由72根圓柱支撐，樓上有60個翹角向外伸展，整樓形如黃鶴，展翅欲飛，簷下四面懸掛匾額，正面懸有書法家舒同題寫的「黃鶴樓」三字金匾，樓外還有鑄銅黃鶴造型、勝像寶塔、牌坊、軒廊、亭閣等建築環繞，蔚為壯觀。
黃鶴樓自古有「天下絕景」之美譽，因唐代詩人崔顥登樓所題《黃鶴樓》一詩而名揚四海。它與晴川閣、古琴台並稱為“武漢三大名勝”，與湖南嶽陽岳陽樓、江西南昌滕王閣並稱為“江南三大名樓”，還是“武漢十大景”之首、“中國古代四大名樓」之一、「中國十大歷史文化名樓」之一，世稱「天下江山第一樓」。

The Yellow Crane Tower is a very famous place. Let me introduce it to you!
The Yellow Crane Tower is located in Wuchang District, Wuhan City, Hubei Province. It is located on the top of Snake Mountain and is close to the Yangtze River. It is a landmark building in Wuhan City. It was first built in the second year of Huangwu in the Three Kingdoms period (223 AD). It has been rebuilt many times in successive dynasties. The existing building was designed based on the “Tongzhi Tower” in the Qing Dynasty and was rebuilt in 1985. The main building of the Yellow Crane Tower is an octagonal structure with four sides and a reinforced concrete frame imitating a wooden structure. It is 51.4 meters high (some say 50.4 meters), 30 meters wide on the bottom floor and 18 meters wide on the top floor. It has five layers of flying eaves and a pointed roof covered with golden glazed tiles, supported by 72 columns. There are 60 corners on the upper floor extending outwards. The whole building is shaped like a yellow crane, spreading its wings and ready to fly. There are plaques hanging on all four sides under the eaves, and a golden plaque with the three characters “Yellow Crane Tower” written by calligrapher Shu Tong on the front. There are also bronze yellow crane sculptures, Shengxiang pagodas, memorial archways, corridors, pavilions and other buildings surrounding the building, which is spectacular.
The Yellow Crane Tower has been known as “the most beautiful scenery in the world” since ancient times. It became famous all over the world because of the poem “Yellow Crane Tower” written by Cui Hao, a poet in the Tang Dynasty, when he climbed the tower. It is known as one of the “Three Famous Scenic Spots in Wuhan” along with Qingchuan Pavilion and Guqin Terrace, and one of the “Three Famous Towers in Jiangnan” along with Yueyang Tower in Yueyang, Hunan, and Tengwang Pavilion in Nanchang, Jiangxi. It is also the first of the “Top Ten Scenic Spots in Wuhan”, one of the “Four Famous Towers in Ancient China”, and one of the “Top Ten Famous Historical and Cultural Towers in China”. It is known as the “No. 1 Tower in the World”.

《黄鹤楼》是唐代诗人崔颢创作的一首七言律诗，具体创作时间已无从考证。此诗描写了在黄鹤楼上远眺的美好景色，是一首吊古怀乡之佳作。这首诗首联巧用典故由仙人乘鹤归去引出黄鹤楼；颔联紧承首联，说自从仙人离去，黄鹤楼已经历经千百年之久；颈联诗意一转，进入景物描写，写晴日在黄鹤楼所见之景；尾联以写烟波江上日暮怀归之情作结，使诗意重归于开头那种渺茫不可见的境界。
