From Tokyo, I took the early morning train to Nagoya. The tour left before 9am and arrived at Takayama around 11:30am. Our tour guide recommended some restos for hida beef, Takayama’s specialty. But since I can’t finish large servings, I tried skewered hida beef instead, and paired them with mochi. Yum! I was full after finishing them. Prices vary tho.

Around 2pm, we went back to the bus then headed to Shirakawago.
