I am so excited to share this video, since I am going close to the most mysterious country in the world: North Korea.
I am starting my trip in Dandong which is the Chinese border city to North Korea. I meet some incredibly interesting people who openly talk about their North Korean experience, and about North Koreans that they have met. Then I am traveling along the Yalu River further north east towards the Russian border to visit North Koreas largest copper mine and the Koreans’ most holy mountain: Chang Bai Shan 🗻

There are tourists in North Korea. Russian tourists can visit North Korea. There are flights between Vladivostok and Peonyang.
I read several North Korean defectors' books about their escape through Hyesan. I am so glad to see this video, which puts those stories in perspective.

I heard that some of the high-rise buildings built by North Korea on the border are just for exhibiting，especially exhibit for China side. Can you imagine a building with more than ten floors but no heating system and elevator? Who would be willing to live in these building in such a cold area?
