“A few days prior, my dad and I caught word that the first grizzly had been spotted just east of the Lamar Valley in #Yellowstone National Park. You didn’t have to tell us more before we said let’s go. It was a dreary day with thick cloud cover as the forecast called for a slight mix of snow and rain. As much as I thought the cool weather would keep the #wildlife active; they weren’t. After many uneventful hours and an afternoon nap, lo and behold these two sparring #bison. We photographed them until we were content to just watch. After feeling satisfied and deciding to head out, we suddenly stopped…there he was. The first grizzly of the year. But that’s a story for another time.” #MyCanonStory
