Face to Face with Death 🇧🇼 vA 144

I ride from Gweta to Maun, in Botswana, in Africa.
After a very quite morning, I start meeting a lot of elephants drinking water very close to the road. After successfully passing the first one, as I try to pass my second elephant the day, things go completely wrong as the elephant tries to charge me… the angry pachyderm does not want to let me through. Luckily, a police car arrives soon after, and they help me pass the elephant without getting harmed. Then I keep meeting large groups of elephants too close to the road for me to easily pass them. At each group, I stop a car, and ask them to help me pass the elephants without getting attacked in the process.
After all these adventures, I find a fenced telecommunication tower where I can safely spend the night. The next day, no more elephants, and after finding a wonderful small shop in the middle of nowhere, I finally reach Maun.

  1. Hi, Kino. I have been following you on you Tube since you began your trip from Ethiopia to Botsawna.

You are indeed a remarkable individual.

You mentioned in your tube that Ethiopia is your favorite place to travel, and we Ethiopians appreciate that.

  2. The way Botswana has maintained its wildlife is a sign of maturity, some of the countries with this kind of animals are almost being cleared by government poachers in the name of being billionaires

  3. Een zeer mooie vlog mooie natuur prachtig wat je ons laat zien over het land en allemaal vriendelijke mensen top 👍👍🙏

  4. Hello. Is there any particular reason why you turned to Namibia instead of Johannesburg and Pretoria? Greetings from Serbia ❤

  5. I have learnt one thing here, while travelling in remote areas of Botswana u have to carry food. The people of botswana are supper friendly from and carinng❤❤ sending love from🇺🇬🇺🇬🇺🇬
Their police is the best, community based but very professional and strict

  6. Man Botwana I think have the best kind generous honest people on the continent ❤. Am from Uganda but I've liked Botswana wow

  7. Great adventure Yves. I am a fan of yours and live in Maun, Botswana. I would like to meet you if you are still here. I can't wait for your next video where you will show our small town/village of Maun. Safe travels mate. We are with you all the way👊

  8. Hi Kino, your journey is becoming more & more amusing to watch. And it can only get better & better. " When the going gets tough & the tough gets going…" PS, I'm glad to hear that you find Ethiopia very fascinating country.

  9. The problem is the elephants are untamed/wild so they tend to be aggressive on human approach. While passing Botswana 🇧🇼 try our beef (beef stew or seswaa

  10. I enjoyed Gaborone. My first time travelling alone as a Kenyan. Definitely going back on these routes with more confidence 👌 .

  11. Maybe not try to sneak past? Sneaking is suspicious, and the elephant is a smart animal.
