Fujian Cuisine (闽菜) – CHINA FOOD TOUR
During my recent trip to Fujian Province I visited Fuzhou and Xiamen cities. It really is a beautiful area of China. While down there, of course I had to try some of the local specialties. Fujian Cuisine is one of the Eight Major Chinese Cuisines (中国八大菜系). Fujian Cuisine is also known as ‘Min Cuisine’, or 闽菜.
Here are the foods I tried in this video:

I've been to China, and I lived for 30 years in Los Angeles (mostly in the 626) so I have eaten every ingredient that you tasted, including the sharks fin and the blood custard (& I think that I saw 'fish-maw' too) – but I haven't had all of those exact Fujian dishes. I even make that Min Sauerkraut & Bamboo banchan myself. Fujian Cuisine is one of the best in China (after Cantonese, Mandarin, & Sichuan). Wuhan and Xian also have great food.
the fired buns are way too big. I like the small ones that can be eaten with one bite and it's got a juicy core. Too bad it's really hard to find those smaller types anymore.

没有品尝“莆田卤面”、“兴化粉”、“福鼎肉片”、“柘荣牛肉丸”！这些都是you should try的美食！😏另外，你吃到的肉燕绝对是不好吃的那种，最好吃的可以在福鼎肉片店里找到。
