  1. Interesting fact about MKT, the majority of the restaurant workers in the Tibetan owned restaurants are north easterners like Naga, Mizo, Manipuri. This is because Tibetans in India are technically foreigners under the law, they cannot do many simple things that ordinary Indians can do such as take out a loan or vote. They also have to pay higher fees for university or colleges than Indians. Due to this, there is massive unemployment in Tibetan community. Due to this, every Tibetan family has one or more family member living and working overseas.
