CAVO TAGOO Santorini is a 5-star luxury hotel located at the northern edge of Imerovigli village. The hotel is also a sister property to CAVO TAGOO Mykonos, which boasts 2 million Instagram followers.
The hotel offers panoramic views of the Aegean Sea and the vast volcanic caldera, as well as spectacular sunsets.
The 13 suites come with hot tubs or private pools on the terrace. Custom furnishings in suede, copper and smoked wood are featured throughout the hotel, and the whitewashed architecture is in a contemporary Cycladic style. Designed by Liakos & Associates Architects, the architectural concept blends minimalism with soft shapes and organic materials while staying true to the cultural and geographical heritage of the island, which was born from lava.
Facilities include ROKA restaurant serving Japanese cuisine and a gorgeous heated infinity pool with floating sun loungers. There is a small gym next to reception but there is no spa.
Numerous activities, tours, and excursions can be arranged through the concierge, from sailing and scuba diving to helicopter flights over the Aegean Sea and multiple trekking and wine tours.
A 20-minute walk south from the hotel will bring you to Imerovigli village, also known as the “The Balcony to the Aegean” because it’s built on the highest point of the volcano’s crater, about 300 meters (1,000 feet) above sea level. Whitewashed houses, cobblestone alleyways, blue-domed churches, and restaurants dot the village.
Like most hotels in Santorini, this hotel is open from mid-April to late October. With only 13 rooms, it books up quickly, so it’s best to book early.

Thank you sir for all of your work capturing all of the small details and especially the grocery store. You are much better human being that I will ever be as I would be in jail right now for killing the D.J. (thank God for mute buttons). The white entrance of the hotel would best be described as esoteric. No plants, not pictures, and one statue tucked into the corner of the bedroom. $2500+ with no beach? As this hotel is only open for 6 months I assume they are charging a year's worth of business. The only thing that makes this better than the Maldives is that you are not trapped on an island and forced to pay resort prices for everything. I think bananas priced out at about .90 cents/LB (Canadian). We pay around .57 to .59 c/LB. There are far worst tourists traps around this planet but that doesn't make this place worthy of wasting money on. Again, thank yo for your work and warning all of us to stay far away from this place.
