【四国の絶景ロード 天空の道 四国カルスト 】Shikoku Karst, Spectacular Driving Road, Japan/ 姫鶴平から天狗高原 愛媛＆高知

こんにちは、Life in Shikoku です。梅雨明けの快晴の日に、「四国カルスト」の東部へドライブに行ってきました。国道440号 → 県道36号 → 林道 → 地芳峠へ上るルート。松山市方面からは最短ルートですが、途中の林道には狭い箇所が結構あります。40㎞遠回りになりますが、高知県の梼原（ゆすはら）町まで行って、南から上るルートもあります。そちらは、帰りに通ってみることにしました。

快晴で、周囲の山並みがくっきり見えて、素晴らしかったです。白い石灰岩に緑の草原とハンカイソウ、のんびりした牛たち。天空の絶景ロードを満喫しました。帰りは、星ふるヴィレッジTENGUから、県道48号 → 東津野城川線 → 国道197号 → 梼原町へ。梼原町から、国道440号で地芳峠をトンネルで抜けて愛媛県側へ。2車線の道だけを通る快適コース。混雑時期や離合が苦手な方にはお奨めです。この景色を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。

Hello, this is Life in Shikoku. On a sunny day at the end of the rainy season, We went for a drive to the eastern part of “Shikoku Karst”. We took the following route: Route 440 → Prefectural Road 36 → forest road → up to Jiyoshi Pass. It is the shortest route from Matsuyama City, but there are many narrow sections along the way. There is another route that goes to Yusuhara in Kochi Prefecture and goes up from the southt although it is about 40 km detour. We decided to take that route on our way back.

It was a beautiful fine day and the surrounding mountains were clearly visible. White limestone rocks, green meadows and hankylocks, and lazy cattle. We enjoyed the road with a spectacular view in the sky. On the way back, from Hoshifuru Village Tengu, take Prefectural Road 48 → Higashitsuno-Shirokawa Line → Route 197 → Yusuhara Town. From Yusuhara, take Route 440 to the Ehime Prefecture side through a tunnel at Jiyoshi Pass, a comfortable course with only two lanes. It is recommended for those who do not like to drive on narrow roads or during busy periods. We would be happy if you could enjoy this scenery with us.
