Disaster in Indonesia | We’re STRANDED in Java with 16 Broken SPOKES! – 🇮🇩 [SE E67]

If you’ve been watching our channel, you probably know that the Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle that we’ve been riding in Indonesia is not awesome. It has broken down countless times, and now that we have just gotten off of a 24-hour ferry from Kalimantan to Java, and we’re tired and gross and just definitely need to get somewhere… the bike breaks down! Again.

This time, there’s a strange wobble to the back tire, but no puncture. And upon closer inspection, we realize that we have literally rusted through 16 spokes on the back tire.

But the worst part is, now that we can’t go anywhere, we’re stranded on the side of the road in a random town in Java. And the one place in the area that seems to be able to do something about our spokes problem says they’re unable to help us…

Are we going to be able to continue on this motorcycle, or should we just give up?

  1. To be honest nobody in Indonesia even buy Bajaj motorcycle, it's always either Honda or Yamaha all over the road in case any trouble they can fix it because there are plenty of those brand workshop.

  3. Very interesting vlog… motorcycle problem😢😢 Cant wait for the next vlog.. suspense 😮😅

  4. Hey how much does it typically cost to ship your bike like your previous 1190adv from one continent to another? Like my 14 1190S from Atlanta to Europe alps for example?

  5. Dorco Poor Dorco, she need retirement home 😄.
Thankyou for sharing your epic adventure Tim & Marisa, be safe & stay healthy.

  6. Even Indonesians don't buy Bajaj motorcycles, not even for just going to the market or commuting to the office. Poor quality, difficult to find spare parts… and you use it for touring?

  7. keep up the enthusiasm, hope you get the opportunity to explore the eastern region of Indonesia.

  8. If only you two were live streaming and providing information on social media about where you are and having problems with your motorbike. I'm sure your subscribers will help you at that time…. Yes, the subscribers closest to your position….So don't hesitate to share your situation at any time on social media….

  9. What you heard is the call for fajr prayers. It's a bit different from normal azan because of the addition of "prayer is better than sleep" verse. The time starts from "true dawn" or twilight till sunrise. Hence it's the most chaotic time because it's short duration.

  10. it's new discovery for your trip that most java businesses or shops close around 3-4 pm, it's normal so be aware.

  11. If you going to east of Indonesia, you will meet more uncomfortable ferry 😅😅. But once in a lifetime he he.. maybe

  12. throw away the motorcycle to the bottom of the sea and buy new one that more proper to long journey..😂..let's visit karimunjawa, dieng plateau,tawangmangu,wonogiri,gunungkidul..and get more experience and connection with javanese traditional culture and pure local people in remote village..

  13. I didn't know you guys are still around. I thought you left Indonesia. Please bare with the condition. Hope nothing fatal. Stay safe.

  14. Tim and Marisa. I just love your trip and videos. You are a very cool couple. I discovered your channel about a month ago and trying to catch up on all of your travels.
