  1. I feel I should give a round of applause, what a brilliant video easy your best. The herd of elephants against the sunset was magnificent, it brought a few tears to my eyes. You need to take a still from that and have it framed. The animals all performed well for you. I love how nothing phases you,you just change your plans instead of moaning. Great camera work Chris and great driving Marianne. Love from Scotland.

  2. Amazing episode again. Seeing the elephants and the sunset must have been so special.

  3. Don’t worry about getting stuck, there will always be a 4×4 to pull you out. We love to kit our 4x4s with all the gear to test on unprepared visitors!! 🤗 please come back and hire a 4×4 for your next trip. I think Trudy needs a rest.

  4. I've been following you for years, vicariously satiating my wanderlust. This African series is the best yet. The previous ones took some beating. Well done and thank you.

  5. Just watched your latest video. Guys im in awe!! Have followed you guys for a few years now. Your videos lift my soul so so much.. THANK YOU SO MUCH.. Save travels . Keep up the awesome driving. Lo ING the cinemography. Awesome!! Just love it!!❤ TRUDY ROCKS!! ❤❤🎉❤

  6. Wow watching those elephants crossing the river at sunset looked so magical. What an experience that boat ride must have been! Just wow!!! 😊xx

  7. It probably last rained in April, or maybe March. This part of Southern Africa is experiencing a significant drought. The 2023/2024 rainy season has been poor. The rainy season in a good year lasts from mid/late October to mid/late April but this season the rains have been patchy and sparse. The drought is being attributed to an enhanced Pacific Ocean El Nino effect, which, despite being on the other side of the World, affects Africa.

  8. The yellow bird you saw in the reeds on the Chobe River looks like a little bee eater. The black and white kingfisher is a pied kingfisher.

  9. Love your videos, question is why are you going back south in Africa why not head north
To England? Thanks for the lovely videos.

  10. While in SA we did a Sabie river raft tour. My daughter and myself ended up in the water where there were crocs and hippos. They lie and wait in the pools after the rapids. I couldn’t understand why our guide was slapping the water. He informed me that he was telling the hippos we were in the water. Right after the dump and the guide said if we dump in the water, to not flay around and lie still and float to the edge of the water. We saw several crocs come into the water right after that. I asked our guide why they would take tourists on a hippo and croc river. Funny, he said this was africa and what did I expect. My daughter got a very nasty parasite for that excursion. Ended up in urgent care when we made it to Cape town, where she very well taken care before flying home to Canada. Fun memories!

  11. Chris as long as you are in southern africa during this time of the year, you will get tired of saying it's a beautiful day the sun is shining and the weather is perfect 😂😂

  12. Hello guys, thank you for visiting my lovely country and most importantly the mighty Chobe district….the home to the largest number of elephants in the world……I wish I could have met you and said hi……I am an immigration officer based at Kasane International Airport…..enjoy my country guys😍

  13. 38.44 I think you had a crocodile swimming right at your elbow, considering his dinner 😅

  14. The little green and yellow bird you drifted into is a bee eater. One of the variants anyway.

  15. Living in Canada but Grew up in Zimbabawe and love our Botswana neighbours. When I miss Southern Africa, I like to watch “the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency”. It was filmed in Botswana.

  16. 😂😂”….I’ve seen ‘Lake Placid’….😂😂 Made me spit out my coffee! And, yes, my heart skipped a beat with that crocodile 🐊 plunge!!

  17. You guys!!! This video has ALL the feels!! The elephants 🐘 🐘 🐘 crossing the river…silhouetted against the sunset…sometimes something is so beautiful it makes you cry. What a gift!❤️🇨🇦

  18. It's a shame you didn't get to spend more time at Senyati. It was one of the highlights from our first trip to Botswana. Elephant viewing, however, is vastly better at Elephant Sands -hopefully, you went there !
At Senyati, however, we saw a large variety of animals, including elephants, giraffes, an enormous herd of cape buffalo and, yes, lions!
