Cool
The place that you stayed don't have shuttle buses , you should stay higher where most hotels ( not apartment ) provide shuttle services . Even better if you stay at First World Hotel , right on top of the mountain , affordable and they have more than 7000 rooms
Prices of food in genting are higher even chain or fast food restaurants pricing as well
Oh dear… that's very hot….the Dio lung pao with some broth in it…..tell you what…you are suppose to eat by placing it inside the spoon….lift the pao puncture a small hole let the broth drip and do I'll the spoon and you can drink the broth then eat the pao…get it….
the genting first world is guiness world record for the most hotel in the world 7,225 rooms
LOL. The servers should have told you how to eat the Xiaolongbao (Little Dragon Bao). The soup in the bao is boiling hot! You are supposed to bite off the tip of the bao and sip the soup out of it first. Then, you continue to eat the rest of the bao with the ginger vinegar. When you put the whole bao into your mouth, I was like OMG. That is going to burn.
youre lucky, as a local i want the mist/cloud view of genting, the vibe is magical
i only experienced it once in my 5-8 visit
the mist/cloud gives Gibli's movie vibe
Chinese restaurants in Asia. when sit down u get served cold starters ot peanuts along with wet napkins, these are chargeable and it has been this way since the beginning of time. so get used to it, now u know. if u don't want it u can tell them u don't want it.
secondly 60rm for what u had which is below 20usd is super cheap. I don't know how much cheaper u expected. you're in a resort destination in a restaurant paying 10 bucks per person for fresh handmade food….zzzzzs
Yes, Mike made a big mistake. You hv to go to kl sentral, take a bus to genting. Take a cable car up. Cheap. Grab is expensive to go up and down the mountain.
Welcome to Malaysia. Good that you enjoy your holiday here. Also the foods. Love how ashley always smiles and laughs. Mike is very calm. Love u both.
Usually, Malaysians would stay at the hotels/apartments that's half way up Genting Highlands closer to the start of the cable car and where Premium Outlets are. Cheaper and a bit more convenient. 3 nights would be just right to explore Genting Highlands and its theme parks.
Come to casino please, we wanna see casino in malaysia…
You guys missed the outdoor theme park, which is way better than the indoor one.
be careful, crime is increase rapidly in Malaysia nowdays.
Dont walk alone.
Your mouth tingled after the dumplings from all the MSG?
Starbuck there, just means there is a Starbucks in hell? 😂 jkjk
想看完但没中文字母看不懂😅

Really glad you both got to experience Genting Highlands🤩
Maybe can try steepest cable car @ langkawi 😂
0:51, Yeah that's what I don't like about Malaysia is the weather, it almost always rain in the afternoon, sometimes even at night and overnight because it's unpredictable and the worst is flooding from December to March because of the ITCZ. Your a bit lucky hat you visit Malaysia on the 1st week of July or mid July, the weather is good, except the weather is gonna be unpredictable. I was in KL 2 weeks ago I am lucky that for 5 days in a row, the weather is good, it's cloudy, but no rain.
1:04, It happens all the time anywhere I travel, book uber or bolt, but the driver canceled on us, not good. Even us, after arriving in KLIA2, my dad book grab, but the driver canceled on us, not good. But we try again, luckily, the driver accept the booking, it's good. It's better to take a train, but from 6am to midnight. When you arrive in Kuala Lumpur for the 1st time, did you take a train or grab?
U guys should come down to Kuantan, i can take u around and probably we'll to a road trip. For free!
genting highland is always very expensive ,almost 3 times more expensive than kl🤣🤣
I luv your vlog ❤❤❤ 😅
老外也挺可怜 没什么吃的
Welcome to Malaysia 🇲🇾🇲🇾
ahh Genting…Malaysia's biggest tourist trap.
If you plan to return to Ipoh try to check up Gopeng town. Adventure and nature place.
The way she handles the chopsticks 🥢 🫡 👍 👏 ❤
If U happened to see fire crackers when it’s not Chinese New Year that’s means U both are very lucky ❤ Good luck guys 👍🏻🌈
Malaysia Boleh .. kan 👍
Hi Mike &A.shley, are you still in Malaysia?
I have never been to Langkawi Island in the state of Kedah and Kuala Terengganu to eat nasi dagang, lekor crackers, Redang Island and other places..
We went there back in Dec 2016, there were 7 of us. Rode a charter van from Masjid Jamek Kuala Lumpur and then took the Genting Skyway. Only 3 hours there sadly, not enough time. There's simply too much to explore. Lots of shops and theme parks. Two shops caught my attention: Padini Authentic Store and Country's Tidbits & Candies Cottage.
you should take bus from KL sentral then straight away take cable car…Grab expensive to up there
The old times of GENTING HIGHLANDS actually are better than nowadays…the weather are feel more colder than this time ever
The proper way to eat the soup dumpling is by using a spoon, First drink the soup then later the dumpling. If you put the whole dumpling in your mouth, it will burn your mouth.
There's 18 levels/chamber of hell. It's like a the level of badness. Level 1 for a little bit bad, Level 18 for extremely bad. Btw, the pagoda is a columbarium.
Xiao long bao shouldn't be eaten directly like that. Put it on a spoon, bite or poke a little hole on the xiao long bao and have a sip of the broth and let the hot steam out. It will be instantaneously cool down after the hot steam are out. 18 fold is a very Cantonese concept. 18 means "getting rich for sure". Mala means numbingly spicy and it's main ingredient is szechuan peppercorn.
actually u can return the wet tower u to the counter without open it, it wont b charged, in others restaurants too
