⁴ᴷ Niigata: Kita Sanjo Station (新潟県: 北三条駅) – Japan Walking Tour (July, 2024)
In July (June at the time of shooting), we will be heading to Niigata. To get to Niigata Prefecture, we will go through Fukushima and Yamagata Prefectures. We have moved from Yamagata Prefecture to Niigata Prefecture.
Sanjo City is still famous as a hardware town. The Sanjo Betsuin of the Otani sect of Shinshu Buddhism is a five-minute walk from Kita Sanjo Station. We walked to a town near there where a brothel became a red-light district and then a snack street. There was a shopping street that was like the front of the snack bar area, and we walked there as well. Please understand that the recording failed in the latter half of the film and the audio quality is poor.
