Thank you for watching the video.This is Yuka from Keix staff. This time we will be introducing the area around Kinkaku-ji Temple.Please take a look. The first spot we visited was Kinkaku-ji Temple. The official name is Rokuon-ji Temple, and it was founded by Yoshimitsu Ashikaga, the third shogun of the Muromachi shogunate. Please check the QR code on the bottom right for the route. It is one of the sub-temples of Shokoku-ji Temple.The garden architecture centered on Kinkaku-ji Temple is said to represent the Pure Land of Paradise to this world. When I visited, the weather was especially nice and there were a lot of tourists. Kinkakuji Temple was very beautiful, shining in the sunlight. The phoenix, which is a symbol of eternal life and power, at the top of Kinkakuji Temple was shining in the sun. It was impressive to see how it sparkled in the light. I forgot about the heat and the time, and was so fascinated by the sight of Kinkaku-ji. The area around Kinkaku-ji, which I visited 15 years ago, has become a tourist destination and has been maintained and is very beautiful. The Kinkaku-ji temple covered with winter snow is also fantastic and wonderful, so I thought I would like to visit it again in winter. On the way, I came to cafeteria koto to take a break. Enjoy the matcha latte at Yamamasa Koyamaen in Uji City, Kyoto, where traditional techniques have been passed down and each piece of tea is carefully made. The second spot is Waratenjingu Shrine. From Kyoto Station, it is a 3-minute walk from the city bus Wara Tenjin-mae stop. The enshrined deity of Waratenjingu Shrine, Konohanasakuyahime-no-Mikoto, is believed to be the guardian deity of giving birth to a safe child.Legend has it that if there is a knot in the straw of the talisman for safe childbirth, a girl will be born if it is not a boy. there is When I visited, there were families who came to pray with small children in their arms, and it warmed my heart to see them all happy.I hope you find it helpful when sightseeing in Kyoto.
