Good Morning, this is Life in Shikoku. On the 2nd day of the rose tour, we will visit the rose gardens in Okayama Prefecture. It’s fine weather today, too. Arrive at "RSK Rose Garden" in Okayama City. A 30,000 square meter circular flowerbed centered on the RSK radio antenna. Approximately 450 varieties and 15,000 roses are planted. Lovely. Golden Celebration: United Kingdom 1992 Abraham Darby: United Kingdom 1985 We are just opposite the main entrance. Maria Callas: United Kingdom 1965 Scarlet Ovation: Netherlands 2000 Pergola of deep red roses. Nice to take a break in the shade. Movie Star: Germany 1995 Frilled petals. English Garden style area. Arch of roses at the entrance. Pretty rose stand. Tip’n Top: Germany 2015 ‘Rose of Versailles Series’ Le Comte Fersen: France 2009 I loved that manga! Jubile du Prince de Monaco: France 2000 Let’s leave the RSK Rose Garden. We drove up Mt. Tanematsuyama (258m), south of Kurashiki city center. Arrive at the rose garden in Tanematsuyama Park Nish Enchi. Many roses are planted on the slope facing the pond. Brightly spotted rose. The underside of petals are white. Spotted roses in unique colors. Looks like roses with changing colors. Beautiful roses with red borders. Let’s leave the rose garden at Tanematsuyama Park. Return to Shikoku via Hiroshima on the "Shimanami Kaido". Get off the highway at Oshima and go to the observatory of Mt. Kareiyama. Views of Noshima Island, Oshima Bridge, and other islands of the Seto Inland Sea, from the observatory. Noshima Island, with the ruins of a naval castle. Let’s go back along Shimanami Kaido. こんにちは、Life in Shikoku です。バラめぐりの旅二日目は、岡山県のバラ園を訪れました。まず、岡山市内の「RSKバラ園」へ。RSKラジオアンテナを中心とする 3万平方mの円型の花壇に、約450品種・15,000株が植えられています。広大な敷地に、多種類のバラが満開で、とても美しかったです。バラを満喫しました。

最後は、倉敷市の「種松山公園西園地 バラ園」へ。池に面した斜面に、たくさんの美しいバラが咲いていました。帰りは広島から、「しまなみ海道」の美しい景色を見ながら四国へ。この景色を、一緒に楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいです。

Hello, this is Life in Shikoku. On the second day of our rose tour, we visited rose gardens in Okayama Prefecture. First, to “RSK Rose Garden” in Okayama City. About 450 varieties and 15,000 roses are planted in a 30,000 square meter circular flower bed centering on the RSK radio antenna. It was beautiful to see so many varieties of roses in full bloom on the vast garden. We really enjoyed roses.

Finally, we went to “Tanematsuyama Park Nish Enchi Rose Garden” in Kurashiki City. Many beautiful roses were blooming on the slope facing the pond. On the way back to Shikoku, we took Shimanami Kaido with beautiful scenery via Hiroshima prefecture. We would be happy if you enjoy this scenery with us.
