This video is created with the theme of “Michinoku Coastal Trail that runners can enjoy in a day”. The “Michinoku Coastal Trail” is a long trail with a total length of about 1,000 km that crosses the Pacific coast from Hachinohe City, Aomori Prefecture to Soma City, Fukushima Prefecture. Model courses are introduced on the official website, but they are a bit difficult to use as they assume the use of public transportation with low convenience. Therefore, we introduce a loop course that sets the departure and arrival points on the premise of car movement.
The second installment is a round trip course with the Aneyoshi Campground on the Omoe Peninsula in Miyako City, Iwate Prefecture as the departure and arrival point. It passes through Todogasaki, the easternmost point of Honshu. The distance is about 19km, more than half of which is a trail course, and you can monopolize the beautiful view of the deserted coast. The route of the ‘Michinoku Coastal Trail’ is between Aneyoshi Campground and Omoe Fishing Port.Please come and visit.
【Points to note】
For access to the Aneyoshi Campground, we recommend the route that goes south from the Miyako City side. The route that goes north from the Yamada Town side has a narrow road with continuous sharp curves, and there is a risk of accidents for those who go for the first time.
Also, there are places on the trail course where mobile phone signals do not reach.

この動画は、「ランナーが１日で楽しめるみちのく潮風トレイル」をテーマに作成しています。「みちのく潮風トレイル」とは、青森県八戸市から福島県相馬市までの太平洋沿岸を縦断する、総延長約1,000㎞のロングトレイルです。公式ホームページではモデルコースも紹介されていますが、利便性の低い公共交通機関を利用する前提となっており、少し使いにくいです。そこで、自動車移動を前提として発着地点を設定した周回コースをご紹介しています。
第２弾は岩手県宮古市の重茂半島にある姉吉キャンプ場を発着地点とした周遊コースです。本州最東端の魹ヶ崎を経由します。距離は約19kmで半分以上がトレイルコースとなっており、誰もいない美しい海岸の景色を独り占めできます。姉吉キャンプ場と重茂漁港の間が「みちのく潮風トレイル」のルートになります。ぜひ足を運んでみてください。
【注意点】
姉吉キャンプ場へのアクセスは、宮古市側から南下するルートをおすすめします。山田町側から北上するルートは、道がせまく急カーブが連続しており、初めて行く方は事故の危険性があります。
また、特にトレイルコースにおいて携帯の電波が通じない場所があります。
