4K Shonan Drive 2024 | Yokohama – Kamakura – Atami, Japan
A morning drive along the coastline located south of Tokyo.
The drive starts at Daikoku PA, Yokohama, and heads to Kamakura, one of the ancient capitals of Japan, where many shrines and temples remain.
After leaving Kamakura, We drive to Atami, Shizuoka along the Shonan coastline (the coastal area along Sagami Bay in Kanagawa Prefecture).
Atami is famous for its hot springs, which attract many tourists. It is only 40 min away from Tokyo Station by the Shinkansen bullet train.
The roads in the Shonan area are extremely busy with cars and tourists on weekends. Visiting by train is highly recommended.
