Yashima, Takamatsu City , Kagawa Prefecture Yashima is located northeast of Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture. A remnant hill whose flat surface has been eroded and covered with hard lava. A long plateau-like terrain running north to south. The highest point is about 300 meters. Approximately 5km north-south and 2km east-west.
You can climb mountains, hike, observe wild birds, and observe plants. There are Yashima Castle ruins, Yashima Temple, an observation deck, and an aquarium. You can access the parking lot by your own car, and public transportation is by bus.
From JR Yashima Station or Kotoden Yashima Station, take the Yashima Sanjo Shuttle Bus, which takes 10 to 18 minutes. Walk along the promenade.
