【熱海観光】電車で行く🚋熱海1泊2日の旅③(2日目)1日で回れる😆欲張り熱海観光コース👍熱海城🏯〜来宮神社⛩️【熱海旅行】【静岡県】Vol.85 [MULTI SUB/4K]

Good morning! This is E-Ma. This is the second day of my 2-day, 1-night trip to Atami. It’s cloudy but warm for January. The weather is perfect for our trip, where we walk a lot (´ー`). Looks like today is going to be a fun day too ♪ Breakfast buffet.

I ate a lot since morning (´ー`). After checking out, I went to the park in front of the hotel and saw the Atami cherry blossoms in bloom. Kawazuzakura is famous for its early blooming cherry blossoms. It blooms a month earlier than the Kawazu cherry blossoms.

I feel like I was lucky to be able to see cherry blossoms at this time of year (*’▽’). So today I’m going to do a lot of walking and sightseeing (*’▽’). Ride the Atami Ropeway to the observation deck at the top.

Adults: 700 yen round trip, 400 yen one way.Children: 400 yen round trip, 300 yen one way. The ropeway runs every 10 to 15 minutes. There is almost no waiting time. We took the first train and headed to the top (´ー`). Japan’s shortest ropeway (゜_゜).

The 3 minute walk in the air went by in the blink of an eye (^_^;). When you get off the ropeway, you will arrive at the Cape Aijo Observation Deck. Previously, when I came on a nice day, I spent time here at “Umisora Terrace” (´ー`).

Leave the Atami Ropeway summit station and go up the slope. The castle came into view. [Atami Castle]. I bought a set ticket with [Atami Trick Art Labyrinth Museum] which is next to Atami Castle.

Common set ticket: 1,800 yen for adults, 950 yen for elementary and junior high school students, 700 yen for ages 3 to 6. Let’s start with trick art (*’▽’). It may be difficult to understand unless you actually come and experience it.

There are art works that use the illusion of the human eye to make two-dimensional paintings appear three-dimensional. If you’re on the left side of the room, it’s big enough to reach the ceiling, but if you move to the right, it gets smaller. Strange ( ̄▽ ̄).

There is a sample of how to take a photo next to the picture. The way it looks changes depending on the angle, so it’s quite difficult to take a photo exactly like the sample (;´・ω・). A room with a large mirror. Who looks the biggest? All of them are the same size (*_*).

I really enjoyed Trick Art Labyrinth Museum (´ー`). Next, we will enter Atami Castle. Atami Castle does not exist historically.

It is said that during the Warring States period, successive generations of famous generals from the Odawara Hojo clan wanted to build a castle as a base for their navy, but they were unable to do so. Atami Castle was built on that land in 1959 as a tourist facility.

We toured the Samurai Museum on the 1st floor, and then went to the footbath, which is also on the 1st floor. The footbath towels here are also 100 yen (´ー`). A footbath while looking at this view is the best (*’▽’). The elevator takes you all the way up to the 6th floor.

6th floor “Panorama Observation Tower”. The view is from 43m above ground and 160m above sea level. The one in the foreground is Hatsushima, and the one in the background is Izu Oshima. There will be stairs going down. 5th floor “Edo Experience Corner”. You can wear the costume and take photos.

4th floor “Edo Mysterious Pictures and Playful Pictures Exhibition”. Rebus (visual riddles) and trompe l’oeil paintings created during the Edo period are on display. 3rd floor “Ukiyo-e/Shunga Exhibition”. From here onwards, it’s Shunga, so photography is prohibited, and those under the age of 18 are not allowed to enter (^_^;). 2nd floor “Japanese Castle Museum”.

A castle made of matchsticks is also on display. B1F “Free Game Corner”. Isn’t it amazing that you can play all of this for free?ヾ(≧▽≦)ノ. I didn’t expect this facility to have so much to see. I didn’t have enough time, so I couldn’t take my time to watch it (^_^;).

If you want to enjoy both Trick Art and Atami Castle, I think it’s better to spend about 3 hours watching it. I took a bus from Atami Castle and headed towards Atami Station. The first basement floor of Atami Daiichi Building in front of Atami Station.

We will have lunch at [Onsen Tsukemen Ishin Atami Main Branch]. Soy sauce ramen 780 yen. This is the most popular shrimp chicken ton 1000 yen. The noodles made with hot spring water were chewy and the soup had a rich shrimp flavor and was delicious (´ー`).

I’m about to get on the train, but I’m not going home. Take the Izukyu Kinme Train and go one station away. The vehicle is modeled after a golden sea bream, and the interior is also very cute (´ー`). The first special seat ( ̄▽ ̄). Departure progress! I’ve already arrived (^▽^;). [Kinomiya Station].

From here, walk to your destination. The path from the station was an unexpectedly uphill slope (;´・ω・). [Atami Plum Garden]. Admission fee: 100 yen for guests staying in Atami city, Atami citizens, and Yugawara townspeople, free for junior high school students and younger, 300 yen for adults.

Atami Plum Garden is famous for its earliest plum blossoms in Japan. The plum festival is held every year from early January to early March. It was still a little early when we visited in mid-January. Overall, the blooming of the flowers was a little sad (;´・ω・).

This area near the entrance was the most beautiful blooming area. There are 469 plum trees of 60 varieties in the park. Early-blooming, mid-blooming, and late-blooming plums bloom in sequence. You can enjoy plum blossoms whenever you visit during the Plum Festival. Mid-February seems to be the best time to see them.

We will go around the park. The bright pink plum blossoms are so beautiful (´ー`). “Korean Garden”. It looks like it’s hardly in bloom either (´・ω・). In this Japanese-style garden, a footbath is available for use during the plum festival. This is my third footbath on this trip (*´ω`).

It has a feeling of openness and a very nice view (´ー`). “Plum Waterfall”. It looks like you can walk behind the waterfall, so I would like to go there. There is a one-way street behind the waterfall, so enter from here.

I think the scenery would be even more beautiful if the plum trees were in full bloom. The odango look delicious! I should have eaten it (;´・ω・). It seems that the Atami Plum Garden also holds a maple festival in autumn. I would like to come again in the fall (´ー`).

From here, walk to Kinomiya Shrine. [Kinomiya Shrine plum garden knotted leaves] There was this observation deck on the way to the shrine. You can clearly see Hatsushima in the distance (´ー`). And directly below is the Shinkansen (゚Д゚). [Kimiya Shrine]. This is a shrine that enshrines the god of good fortune and good luck.

It is popular as one of Japan’s leading power spots and is visited by many tourists. Inari Shrine is lined with bright red torii gates. It is said that this shrine will bring you blessings such as a rich harvest, safety for your family, prosperity in business, and the fulfillment of various wishes.

This is Mitsumine Shrine with its black torii gate. It is said to be good for warding off evil spirits as it enshrines a guardian deity who protects from disasters. Then I will also visit the main shrine. After visiting the shrine, you can buy a fortune (´ー`).

I wonder how many times a year I withdraw. I love the excitement of opening a fortune (*’▽’). “The sooner you travel, the better.” Yes! I’ll go soon (≧▽≦). Fallen leaves of heart. This is an ancient Japanese pattern called “Inome” that means protection from evil spirits and good luck.

You will pass through an atmospheric alley surrounded by bamboo. Beyond that… A large kusu, a natural monument. It is the largest tree in Honshu, with a circumference of 23.9m and a height of approximately 26m. It is said that the tree is over 2100 years old.

For a long time, it has withstood natural disasters such as lightning and storms. It continues to grow even now. It is considered a symbol of “eternal youth and longevity” and “good health.”

For this reason, there is a legend that if you go around a large camphor tree, your life will be extended by one year. A legend was born that if you keep your wish in your heart and walk around the trunk, your wish will come true. So let’s go around with a wish.

“Back bench”. Surrounded by greenery, I felt a strong power (´ー`). [Saryo Hoko]. I wonder why shrine cafes are so soothing (´ー`). This is the end of this tour of tourist spots. I returned to Atami Station to retrieve my checked baggage. [Atami pudding]. I came here to buy souvenirs.

When I passed by the store yesterday, there was a huge line, but this time I was able to buy right away without having to wait. [Mataichi-an Atami Bata-an]. I ate it yesterday and it was delicious so I came back to buy it again (´ー`).

Atami can be enjoyed even in bad weather without a car. We hope you had fun with us! I hope this video is of some help to you. If you like it, please click the good button and subscribe to the channel!
