【ホテル宿泊記】充実の無料サービスと朝食!海鮮丼も作れちゃう!『天然温泉 扇浜の湯 ドーミーイン川崎』川崎 / ホテル紹介

Thank you for watching. This is Yusuke’s Travel! This time, we will start from “Kawasaki Station”! This channel will introduce hotels with good cost performance and slightly luxurious hotels. If you like domestic travel and hotel stays, please subscribe to our channel!

This time we will be visiting a popular hotel chain. I’ve been curious about it for a while now, and it’s finally my first visit! It takes about 7 minutes on foot from Kawasaki Station to the hotel. It’s almost straight from the station, so it’s unlikely you’ll get lost.

I would like to visit “Natural Hot Spring Ogihama no Yu Dormy Inn Kawasaki”! Kawasaki is the only Dormy Inn brand hotel in Kanagawa Prefecture. We arrived at the hotel entrance. Dormy Inn Kawasaki also has a parking lot, so you won’t have any problems if you come by car.

Let’s go inside the hotel right away! The staff guided us very carefully. After completing the check-in procedures, I immediately headed to my room. There are no amenities in the room, so please bring what you need. This is the amenity corner. There was a hairbrush, T-shaped razor, toothbrush, and cotton swabs.

There are 4 elevators, so you won’t have to wait too long. We arrived at the 5th floor. This is the elevator hall. It’s a nice, clean space. Where is your room today? Room 514. This is the room you were assigned this time.

Enter the room by holding up your card key. It’s my first time at Dormy Inn, and I’m excited with anticipation…! Insert your card key and start your room tour. I entered the room…the bedroom is separated by a door. Information on the location of this room and the emergency exit. Let’s check it properly.

When you enter the room, there is a pocket on your left where you insert your card key. Opposite it are shoe horns and slippers for the hall. With these slippers, you can move to the public bath or restaurant.

A full-length mirror next to the card key pocket. It’s the perfect place to get dressed before you leave. I’ll introduce the water area later. Let’s go to the bedroom first. This will be your bedroom. Non-smoking double room 15.9㎡. Since you want to add brightness to your room, check the view first!

Open the drape curtains and sheer curtains… The view from the room is like this. It’s on the south side, but since it’s low-rise, you can see the building next door. This is what it looks like with only sheer curtains. It lets in plenty of light.

I looked around from the back of the bedroom. I like simple spaces. The bed size of the double room is 140x195cm. Two pillows of the same type are provided.

I took the opportunity to check it out. This is a Dormy Inn original pillow, and it seems to be quite popular, so it was sold online. The bed has a pad under the sheets, and the mattress is a Simmons mattress.

Uses Simmons’ Beautyrest series. It was very comfortable and I slept soundly without waking up in the middle of the night! As soon as you enter the bedroom, there is an open closet to your right. This is inside the building. The pocket has the Dormy Inn logo embroidered on it.

It wasn’t too tight and was very comfortable to wear. There is enough space at the foot of the closet to put one carry case. Daikin air conditioner. I’m glad it’s not centrally controlled air conditioning. There was a chair with a backrest near the bed.

Let’s take a look around this shelf next to the bed. Various lighting switches, one power outlet, and a USB port for charging. The headboard lighting can be dimmed. Table clock with alarm. There was a tissue box and a standing light on the shelf.

Let’s take a look around the desk in your room. It is a horizontally long type. Check from the right hand side. The desk chair is a stool type. It would also be nice to combine it with the chair from earlier to create an ottoman.

There is a telephone and writing utensils in the room. There are a lot of light switches for the desk and 3 power outlets. Thank you. Writing utensils. The memo paper has the Dormy Inn logo. There was also a LAN port on the back of the in-room phone.

This leaflet was given to you at check-in. Information about rooms, Wi-Fi, restaurants, and the surrounding area is summarized here! Wi-Fi speed is reasonable at 78Mbps download and 92Mbps upload. Information on breakfast and night naki soba. We will introduce this in detail later!

Information on nearby standard restaurants and advantageous coupons. The first restaurant is “”Restaurant with lots of yams” located about 3 minutes walk from the hotel. The second restaurant is “Charcoal-grilled Kushiyaki Mekanai Ryori Ojareya”” which is right next to the hotel.

The third store is “Japanese rice wine & Japanese Cuisine Nagomi Sakabo Gen” located in front of the hotel. There is a welcome service in the refrigerator. Check it out later! Order card for linen exchange when staying for consecutive nights. This is information about eco activities. I want a mask case for Dormy Parakeet…

TV and air conditioner remote controls. You can switch the external input on your TV using the AUX button. When I immediately turned on the TV, the hotel menu was displayed. Please note that it is not compatible with smart TVs. Information on viewing VOD on TV can also be found on the hotel menu.

You can also check the crowd status of the public bath. You can also check the crowd status of the restaurant “Hatago” on the second floor of the hotel. You can also check the usage status of the laundry located on the 15th floor of the hotel.

There is a safety deposit box under the TV. Further below… In the basket were bath towels, body towels, and a laundry bag. Now, for the last part of the room tour, let’s take a look at the water area that we had been putting off!

There may be a refrigerator or cupboard under the sink. Let’s look at them from top to bottom. A face towel is hanging on the towel hanger. The towels also have the Dormy Inn logo embroidered on them. And discoveries, small commitments. The Dormy Inn logo is even on the flush handle! !

Two plastic cups. Amenities were brought from below. The hair dryer was a Panasonic Ionity. Let’s open the refrigerator. There’s water and something inside. Mineral water with the “Dominista” logo representing everyone involved with Dormy Inn. Jelly from DOMINISTA KichenLabo and OASIS’ collaboration project “Traveling SWEETS”.

In the cupboard next to the refrigerator… It contained a cup and an electric kettle. Dormy Inn’s original green tea. Doritec electric kettle. It is compatible with 1 liter, so you can boil a lot at once. Let’s take a look inside this door in front of the washroom.

It was a space with a restroom and shower booth. There is a spare toilet paper on the back shelf. Emergency water at your feet. There is no need to worry if you are prepared. Sanitary bag. I’m especially happy that it’s black. TOTO washlet.

Washlet remote control. I’m really grateful that I can play it with a remote control. There are two types of paper holders. Try to use up the least amount first. Let’s take a look at the shower booth. It’s a simple space.

There is a large public bath, so you don’t have to worry about not having a bathtub! Bath mat with logo on the shower booth door. For bathroom amenities, POLA’s Shower Break series was available. That’s it for the room tour!

After taking pictures of the room, I headed to a nearby ramen restaurant that I was interested in! This is “Homemade Noodles Menya Rihachi” which is about 3 minutes walk from the hotel! It seems that you can have both ramen and tsukemen. I’m having trouble deciding which one to choose!

It’s very popular, so even at 2pm, it was full and you had to wait a little while outside. I entered the store. There are some things that interest me, such as tomato ramen and swordfish Chinese noodles. Water is self-service. There is a water dispenser at the entrance.

The owner probably likes alcohol, as there are many labels on it. If you like alcohol, it might be fun to talk to the owner. One Piece figures from the Kumamoto Recovery Project were displayed. Ramen is completed! Flavored egg ramen is 1,100 yen.

The extra-thick homemade noodles go well with the seafood soup. You can also expect tsukemen! This is pork rice for 350 yen. I had no idea there was such a delicious ramen restaurant so close to the hotel… Thank you for the meal!

We will introduce you to the facilities within the hotel! Let’s start from the first floor. First of all, there is the amenity corner that I introduced at the beginning. You can go to a convenience store directly connected to the hotel. You can feel safe and secure! The front lobby has a luxurious feel.

This is the reception. There are many counters and many automatic payment machines. The lobby is really stylish… Plenty of space to comfortably sit and wait even if you are waiting for the reception. There is always a power outlet next to the sofa. Happy and caring.

There is a currency exchange machine next to the reception counter. You can also rent mobile batteries at the hotel entrance. Digital signage for the newly opened Onyado Nono in Asakusa and Beppu. I want to go to Beppu too! There were also pamphlets with tourist information on Kawasaki.

There was also a smoking room. There are also rooms on the 7th and 13th floors, so those who smoke are also welcome. There is quite a lot of space inside the smoking room. It doesn’t seem to be crowded even if there are a lot of people.

The first floor was also connected to the parking lot. Apparently it can be used for 2,000 yen per night. Please check the official website for the latest information. Head to the second floor. There is also a little consideration in the elevator.

We arrived at the second floor. There is information about night noodles and breakfast buffet. You can receive a welcome drink here from 15:00 to 21:00. The inside of the restaurant “Hatago”. This is the breakfast venue. Are there drinks in the back? There was a drink server. This is a great service!

I came to the vending machine corner. Let’s go inside right away. There was not only a vending machine but also a microwave oven and cutlery such as disposable chopsticks. Vending machine lineup. The price is also reasonable! There is also an ice machine. If you need it, put it in a paper cup.

There was also a smoking room inside. We have arrived on the 15th floor! Here’s what I was looking forward to! Surprisingly, there is a hot spring sourced from its own source! I never expected there to be a hot spring in Kawasaki!

This hot spring, called “Ogihama no Yu”, is slightly alkaline. And the indoor bath and pot bath are “black bath” which can be said to be a characteristic!

There are many wind chimes displayed in front of the women’s bath. It seems to be related to Kawasaki Daishi’s wind chime festival. You can’t see the whole picture, but it’s shaped like the Japanese archipelago! This is the women’s bath. Security is also safe as it uses a PIN code.

Across the hallway is the men’s bath. Let’s take a look through the noren curtain. You can enter the men’s bath by holding up your card key. We will show you what the inside looks like with photos borrowed from the official website.

This is the men’s changing room. I was glad that cleansing products were provided. This is the indoor bath for men. The unique thing about the black bath is that you can’t see inside the bathtub…! Open-air bath for men. At night, the night view was beautiful.

In the foreground is a hot spring bath. This is also a black bath, and I was mostly relaxing in it. Dry sauna in the men’s bath. The temperature is quite high at 100 degrees! Another nice feature is that there is also a TV installed inside.

There is a cold bath next to the sauna. The water temperature was about 12 degrees. It felt good! This is the changing room of the women’s bath. I’m jealous that they have skin care!

Indoor bath in the women’s bath. Compared to the men’s bath, you can feel that consideration has been given to making it difficult to see from the outside. Open-air bath for women. According to the official website, there is also a pot bath.

The sauna in the women’s bath seems to be a mist sauna. It also has a TV. After warming up slowly in the hot spring, I came to the after-bath area. This seems to be the place to go after taking a bath. There are many things to choose from, so let’s check them out.

As a post-bath service, there is a lot of ice cream in the ice box! Of course you can get it for free. There were a lot of HERSHY’S chocolate ice bars, chocolate monaka, and ice bars of various flavors.

This is the after-bath service the next morning. Each person can receive one bottle of the lactic acid bacteria drink Pirkul for free! This is the library space. There were a lot of comics lined up! I came to the laundry corner. Let’s go inside.

When you enter, there is a ladies-only laundry space in front of you. There is a unisex laundry space in the back. If it’s just laundry, it’s free! The dryer costs 100 yen for 20 minutes, so it’s cheap.

There were a total of seven washing machines and dryers for both men and women. That’s enough. There were 3 massage chairs installed. Surprisingly, you can use it for free! Since it is Anma King, it is also equipped with a zero gravity function. Of course, I took advantage of it!

This is the view from the area after taking a bath. There aren’t many tall buildings, so you can see far into the distance. When I visited at night after taking a bath, it was very crowded with inbound Asian tourists.

Vending machine corner. When it comes to sauna, Oropo! Is that what it feels like? Vending machines for alcohol and soft drinks. Not only milk-based drinks, but also nostalgic Aqua Yogur! There is an observation terrace at the back of the after-bath area. Let’s get out right away.

This is the observation terrace. It would be nice to relax here during the warm season. I could also see the buildings of Minato Mirai in the distance. This is what it looks like when you look around from the back of the bath area.

There was even a power outlet and a USB port for charging at the counter seat. It’s time for the night naki soba that I’ve been looking forward to! Yonaki soba is served at night when people are hungry. Apparently, you can even get refills!

I decided from the beginning that I would eat two cups…! There are a lot of noodles in the Tupperware…! I stood in line and watched them being made. The staff members are busy but efficiently preparing the Yonaki Soba. I have to prepare a huge amount, so I am truly grateful.

I asked if it was OK for me to have 2 cups, and they said yes, so I got 2 cups as planned! Pepper and shichimi chili pepper are also available. This is the rumored Yonaki Soba! I’ll have it right away! It was a simple soy sauce ramen, but it was very delicious ♡

When I returned to my room, I decided to have the apple jelly that was in the fridge. I love apple jelly, so I was looking forward to it! It’s very fresh, sweet, and delicious. This is a level that makes you want a second helping.

On the first day, I felt Dormy Inn’s commitment to everything. Good night and looking forward to breakfast. good morning! We arrived at the breakfast venue “Hatago”. We arrived early and everyone was already lined up! Tell the receptionist your room number and go inside. Let’s take a look at Dormy Inn’s special breakfast!

First, there is the corner where you can make your favorite seafood bowl. Tuna, whelk shellfish, coho salmon with salmon roe, scallops marinated in Matsumae, sweet shrimp, grated okra. There was also roast beef. The sauce is gravy and horseradish sauce.

Seaweed and Furikake. And next to it is a rice bending machine. There were two types: white rice and vinegared rice. This pot has Chinese porridge. Next to it are steamed chicken, pressed greens, green onions, pickled pickles, and pickled mustard greens. This hot pot was miso soup.

A corner with absolutely delicious side dishes. We have French toast! There are also shrimp cutlets, potatoes, and fried chicken. Sausage, scrambled eggs and beef stew omelet. Fried eggs were also lined up. It looks so gorgeous in the morning! There are two types of cakes and two types of warabi mochi.

Fruit corner. Apples, pineapples, oranges. Fruit punch and yogurt. Various fruit sauces were also lined up. There was also milk and fruit granola in the back. A vinegar drink made with apple juice, milk, and grapefruit. This is the bread corner. Bread danish, mini French bread, waffles, croissants.

Cold meals, salads, etc. Assorted ham and caprese. We also have a wide variety of salads, including bacon penne salad and shrimp and vermicelli salad! Tuna & corn, snap peas, cauliflower, onion slices, green salad. There were 4 types of dressing. The sesame dressing was delicious!

Boiled hijiki, rape blossoms and fish cakes with sesame dressing. There are small bowls on it. Kinpira with butterflies and bamboo shoots, and white miso with taro and shrimp. Natto and pickles. Then there’s the firefly squid with vinegar miso and the radish with crab paste. Boiled radish and meatballs, Chikuzenni.

Salt-grilled mackerel and salt-grilled salmon. Fried lotus root scissors. I thought I should try seafood bowl, so I chose vinegared rice. Let’s put plenty of tuna on it! What should I put on it next? I decided to add coho salmon with salmon roe dressing! I’m excited because I rarely eat seafood bowl!

Finally, add soy sauce. Here are the meals we brought. The grilled fish was delicious, and the fried lotus root was also very delicious. Personally, the fried chicken was crispy and especially delicious! The miso soup had plenty of fried tofu. The seafood bowl had a little too much vinegared rice. But it’s delicious!

Unfortunately, I ate so much food that my stomach became bloated. Lastly, I had a mixture of pineapple, yogurt, and fruit punch. They are all delicious! Thank you for the meal! Thank you for the meal! Unfortunately, it was time to check out.

How did you like “Natural Hot Spring Ogihama no Yu Dormy Inn Kawasaki”? This was my first time staying at this hotel, and the staff was very helpful.I highly recommend this hotel and would like to stay at another Dormy Inn again.

In addition, we have already made reservations for another brand’s “Onyado Nono” in April and September! Now, it’s time to announce the prices you’re curious about…!

I made a reservation on Ikkyu.com and the total cost was 19,170 yen for 1 person, 1 night and breakfast included, staying on Saturday. Depending on the day, the price won’t change much even for two people, so it might be a good idea to stay with someone else.

Thank you for watching until the end! I hope this helps you choose a hotel, or makes you feel like you’re actually there. I look forward to seeing you in the next video! It was a great trip!

Bonus. I bought it at Lazona Kawasaki for White Day. Pierre Marcolini is also recommended as a gift.

We hope that this information will be of some help to you in choosing a hotel. It would be very encouraging if you could subscribe to the channel, give it a high rating, notify us, and share it with your friends and acquaintances! We will continue to introduce hotels with good cost performance, hot spring inns, and slightly luxurious hotels that cost around 30,000 yen per person per night with one meal included, so please come back next time.
